Test unAustralian, say Muslims
The Daily Telegraph ^ | May 23, 2007 | Unknown

THE controverisal citizenship test being introduced by the Federal Government has been branded "biased" and "unAustralian" by the nation's key Muslim body. Australian Federation of Islamic Councils today released a statement strongly questioning the proposed test, saying members "share the serious concerns" it has raised in "the wider Australian community". "While AFIC does not oppose regulated immigration, it believes that a test with biased questions targeting particular cultural or ethnic groups goes against the very values of democracy and a fair go that the government is trying to inculcate," said President Ikebal Adam Patel. He agreed that would-be migrants should demonstrate reasonable proficiency in the English language, familiarity about the history and population of this country, and knowledge about the Australian lifestyle. But he said he it is "unfair and un-Australian to expect them to study about Anglo-celtic and Judaeo-Christian values, especially when those migrants are coming from a different religious and cultural background."

Mooselimbs should face the facts, they are not wanted.
Where they go they bring death and disorder. Theirs is a religion of warped belief and crazy followers.
Aussies don’t care to have you and neither does the U.S.

So, they’re opposed to the “men and women are equal” question? Sort of put a damper on honor killings, huh.

Why don’t we have something like this? Australians are saying that their citizenship is worth working for and worth having. We just throw open our borders and say, “Citizenship for Sale, Cheap!”

Islamic society is a supremacists ideology that sees Jews (those who are decended from pigs and monkeys) and Christians as second class citizens and those of all other faiths (Hindus, Buddhists, Atheists, Wiccans, Pagans, Scientologists, etc) as lower than that, due fewer rights and protections under the law than muslims.

Reform Islam to be accepting of others as EQUALS and end this notion of “Islamic territory” and perhaps the rest of the world will not be so skeptical of Islamic Imperialists.

Speak out against the segregation and discrimination in Saudi Arabia. Protest for religious freedoms there. Instead EVERY muslim in the world bows to the segregated city of Mecca 5 times a day and keeps quiet about human rights.

Yes, it would all be so much simpler if Australia would just declare itself Muslim, then Anglo-celtic and Judaeo-Christians would not be allowed to immigrate.

Muslims in the UK have been moaning about our similar citizenship test, why not try out a few questions for yourself to see if you could be British? :D

PS - before anyone asks, questions 8 and 9 are genuinely in the test! :)

We do have something like this. It is a loyalty oath for immigrants.

The Imam have said it is okay to lie to the kufir if that is what it takes to become a citizen.

Ask-Imam.com > Islamic Politics > Question 5193 from United States

Q: Is it allowed to obtain United States Citizenship so that travelling for deen becomes easier?
They require you to promise to bear arms for the country.

The oath of allegiance is as follows:
The Oath of Allegiance I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen;
that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic;
that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same;
that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law;
that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law;
that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law;
and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God.

If they require or ask you to bear arms against a muslim country, what should be the response. Their laws are against 4 marraige law of Islaam. Does the pledge cause any "Ilhaad" or any such anti-islamic view? Please answer according to Hanafi Fiqh.

A:

1. If your intention is solely to facilitate easier travel, you are permitted to obtain US citizenship. Although the oath of allegiance is un-Islamic in nature, it will not be treated as an 'Islamic oath'.Therefore, you are not compelled to execute the oath.

2. If you are called up to bear arms against Muslims, you are not permitted to do so by Islamic law.

3. The pledge does not constitute Ilhaad.

and Allah Ta'ala Knows Best

Mufti Muhammad Kadwa FATWA DEPT.

CHECKED AND APPROVED CORRECT: Mufti Ebrahim Desai

(Ilhaad meaning 'atheism)

Agreed. If anyone cannot come into this country and vow to support our laws, our political system, and our culture, they should not be allowed to enter...period. I don't see anything wrong with immigrants supporting their own culture, but their goal should not be the overthrow of the very country that is giving them safe harbor.

Soon, Australia will be more American than America.

I've been saying it for years. Of course, they beat themselves up daily over aboriginal issues and believe that an English-education requirement is racist. However, many of those sympathetic to the aboriginals are still supportive of immigration reform and measures to prevent Islamic sedition.

they are going to find an incompatibility with this part:

“The British are a nation of animal lovers, says Life in the UK. What must dog owners do? “

It is forbidden under Islam to have dogs in the home and in general they don’t appear to be animal lovers. Angels will not visit houses with dogs in them, according to the Imam.

The pub questions are going to be lost on muslims. They cannot use alcohol based skin ointments, it is absolutely forbidden to drink alcohol.

These questions could cause a fatwa.

Are there any questions about how young a bride a man can take in the UK? How about how many wives?
