According to villagers and witness accounts posted on the Internet, officials in several parts of Guangxi mobilized their largest effort in years to roll back population growth by instituting mandatory health checks for women and forcing pregnant women who did not have approval to give birth to abort fetuses.

A truly devastating article on Chinese oppresssion. Forced sterilizations? Is the left so in love with China because this is what they want for America?

This is a good thing that is needed because, as the Chinese told us just a couple of weeks ago, the forced sterilization and forced abortions are helping ease the problem of ALGORE's GLOBAL WARMING

The rampant pollution in China at the expense of increasing mega billion trade surplus will be the ultimate birth control in China. It's increasing and the Communist government knows it and wants it. The recent upswing to abort fetuses just means that the Mao gov thinks it isn't happening fast enough. China's goal is to reduce it's population, therefore increasing it's per capita income at o raise the general populations standard of living. There's still plenty of other countries in Asia for cheap labor market exploitation fueled by Chinese silent investments.
Kinda like our government and its blind eye to open borders illegal immigration where politicoho's accept donations from industries (large corporations in agriculture and construction) that overwhelmingly purport cheap illegal labor.

This is truly sad. I'm sure a lot of the woman who are suffering by having forced abortions did not mean to get pregnant. For many it isn't a planned act. If they really wanted to do the most good they should maybe look into giving men vasectomys? Want more on this subject? Read what
Christopher Ruddy has to say.

I believe this isn’t population control; this is genocide. The Chinese are much more lax in urban areas; industrialization lowers the birth rate far faster than repression, but the Chinese are fearful that the countryfolk will gain a demongraphic advantage over the cityfolk, and the countryfolk are naturally much more resistant to centralization. (That’s true anywhere; look at our Red-Blue divide.)
In the city, there’s no such thing as a 1 child per family rule; nationally, the fertility rate is still about 1.8 (far higher than, for instance, Japan or either Korea). Why make the regions which would normally have the highest birthrates be forced to have the lowest birth rates?

China has a 40 million man/woman deficit! With 40 million more men than women they are going to have big big problems.

They better figure out some way to control their population or they’re ALL going to starve!
