I totally agree with you. I’m up here in New England, and you don’t hear many of the clergy talking about this issue during their homily. What with many, many so called Catholic politicians & their constituents up here supporting, encouraging, advocating abortion, they need to be called to task on it, and be told in no uncertain terms, that they are excommunicated from the Church...they are attempting to justify their actions, and as Catholics, they cannot justify the killing of the ultimate gift from God.

I’ve been in NH for well over 20 years, not once has any of our parish priests EVER mentioned abortion in a sermon. Occasionally, a visiting missionary will mention it. Instead we get nuns bragging how a girl with 4 kids by 3 different men has time off because they are taking care of the babies.

Right now, our pastor prays every Sunday for an end to all wars and protection for all those fighting. He NEVER specifically mentions the US or allies in the military. Of course, he is a jesuit.
