I remember that as the ultimate in recycling. It was interesting to have a Pabst can serve as a dog’s body.

when your labor for manufacturing costs are penny’s per hour rather than 10’s of dollars that is why. There is no changing that. that being said, yes too much tax here, union scale here, regulation here without a doubt. However I highly doubt any american would last a week working in a chinese run manufacturing business where if you dont produce they beat the $hit out of you.

A buck an hour is the typical factory wage.

They don't beat people for not working. OK, South Koreans are known for corporal punishment. But Chinese employers just fire employees who don't measure up.

Experts also say doubts about the quality of China’s food shipments and worries about its fake drugs could affect other exports if buyers begin to find safety problems or other product flaws...
Experts aren't the only ones. Thanks NeverDem.

Any country which makes a commodity out of human organs is suspect in my mind.

Scary stuff. Why are we importing food stuffs from a country that does not have the same standards that we have? I’m with Senator Grassley on this one. Big time.

Have a nephew over there and they pay their maid, $80.00 a month, she is there 8 hours a day, 6 days a week. What is that, $1.66 an hour.
Unreal.

Tell him to keep his valuables safe. Chinese domestic help can be pretty light-fingered.

By the way, that is $0.40 an hour. $1.66 an hour would be what a manager or college grad makes. I know recent college grads who make less, working at major Chinese banks.

sn't it nice to find out IN THIS MANNER, that they are apparently using processed ingredients from China. I had no idea...but I am certainly glad that they were named in this article.

I plan on checking into this. Shocking to say the least.

I don't want to buy any foodstuffs from China.
