This was the coldest April in a hundred years, I believe, and May has been cold, too. Here in Vermont since May 1 all but a few nights have been below freezing. Several times it got down into the teens.
Of course, if you mention global warming to a true believer, you will be told that climate change is complicated and that this recent cold streak just goes to prove that it’s true.
They’ve danced around ‘global warming’ by calling it ‘climate change’. So no matter, warmer or cooler, they can say they told us so.
