I have dealt with the BBC before. Supportive messages towards American conservatism types of ideologies are automatically censored so there is quite a bit of selection bias if you will.

And in addition, red state Americans (or blue staters who are not hardline liberals/lefties) normally don’t rely the BBC as the primary news source. Those who do tend to be the Howard Dean type. Mind you that this is not Australia which even their conservatives like Alexander Downer will use the BBC extensively.
