Much of the intellectual foundations of the modern Emergent Church movement spring out of Britain and its supporters like Rob Bell hold Falwell in contempt over his Bible literalism, eschatology, and Israel-friednly stance. And this is already the “closest” movement from biblical Christianity.
Most Britons sneer at Bible church type of people as “American understanding of Christianity”.
