I hope this guy is OK. He is the best example of disagreeing without being disagreeable. A real principled man. There was a time I did not agree with him on anything but now I am on his side more than not. God bless you Rev Farwell. I hope you are OK.

Yea. Remember the suit he had against, I think, Bob Guchionne the owner of Penthouse? Penthouse printed a cartoon about Falwells mother having sex with a donkey. Well, anyway Falwell and Guchionne apparently became pretty close after that. I saw them together on one of the TV talk shows, Larry King or something, and I was the funniest thing I ever saw. They played off each other like Martin and Lewis. He certainly did’t approve of Mr Guchionnes lifestyle but he said he prayed for him everyday and Bob seemed to really appreciate it.

Rev Falwell believed the remedy for free speech with which he did not agree,was more free speech.If you disagreeded with him loudly enough,you got invited to speak at Liberty U.For those reasons alone he qualifies as a great American.
