Needless to say, the level of gloating over that places like Eschaton is going through the roof. It would be interesting to see if the media would ever report on left wing bloggers and their celebration of an evangelicals physical collapse.

Yea. Remember the suit he had against, I think, Bob Guchionne the owner of Penthouse? Penthouse printed a cartoon about Falwells mother having sex with a donkey. Well, anyway Falwell and Guchionne apparently became pretty close after that. I saw them together on one of the TV talk shows, Larry King or something, and I was the funniest thing I ever saw. They played off each other like Martin and Lewis. He certainly did’t approve of Mr Guchionnes lifestyle but he said he prayed for him everyday and Bob seemed to really appreciate it.
