He can’t buy my vote but I will let him try. 1B divided by 50 million voters comes to about 20 dollars a vote. I recommend he cut out the middle man and send me a check for the twenty and I’ll give him all the consideration the little weasel deserves.

Two faced schmoo faced. Have I ever said Hunter's personal piety is better than Romney's? Have I ever said mine is superior to yours? Have I ever even hinted at such? Well, the answer is no.

And if you are offended by beautiful women (clothed, mind you) than that is YOUR problem. And one I suggest you get over for the sake of your mental well being.

In fact, there is one gal who is often scantily attired that likes both Mitt and Hunter. You might even recognize her:

I bothers me not in the least that you are so easily offended. In fact I rather enjoy your church lady act.

The only way someone with the solidly conservative ideology like Duncan Hunter or Tom Tancredo could win is if one of them ran for President as an independent, Giuliani or McCain received the GOP nomination, and Bloomberg ran as an independent. Since the major party nominations will probably be decided by St. Valentine's Day, rather than May or June, there is a lot more time to raise funds and enlist volunteers. An independent conservative would not have the funding of the two major parties and Bloomberg, but would make up for it through the Internet and bloggers. Center-right talk show hosts and GOP politicians would have a difficult time keeping the conservative voters on the Republican plantation and some would likely defect to the independent run. I could easily see Neal Boortz, Michael Savage, and Ann Coulter enthusiastically supporting an independent, and Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity defecting from the GOP if the independent conservative is running strongly.

Winning the Presidency with 30-35% of the national popular vote would be unprecedented, as even Lincoln won 39.8% of the national popular vote in a four way race in 1860. Wilson received 41% of the national popular vote in 1912, and Clinton received 43% in 1992. But it is not implausible, as the numerous conservative constituencies already dislike Giuliani and McCain, and would defect to a viable independent conservative.

All Bloomberg needs to do is target specific "weak" red states with 16-20 electoral votes, and it sends the election to the Congress. A Congress that will still likely be Dem controlled.

Doesn't matter if he pulls votes from Democrats or Republicans. He can muck up the Electoral College, which does swing the election to the Dems.

Notwithstanding the conventional and wrong wisdom of the MSM, a Bloomberg-Hagel ticket is much more a threat to the RATS than to the GOP nominee.

In fact, Bloomberg could be the reverse-Perot and the only way the GOP can hold the White House next year.

Bloomberg can’t win any single state — possibly except NY, and that is a long-shot too.

I think they should get hitched in Massachusetts before starting their campaign. But I’m not sure who would be considered the wife.

What kind of man spends $1 billion of his own money to get a job that pays $600,000?

Isn’t it just a little naive to think that in today’s world a president’s earning potential is limited at his salary?

Just think about what has awaited the last two presidents............

Speaking tours, membership in selective private LLC’s and mega-dollar consulting fees from federal “contractors” that were tight with the administration and those administration’s policies.

In the post RWR world, the WH is a one way ticket to “Kennedy-sized” generational wealth.
No

After Perot got out of the race, I lost all interest in him. Then his whole “George Bush made me do it!” hysteria on 60 Minutes...not attractive.

I have no idea how he got so many votes.
