I guess asaparagus are an acquired taste. I’m not particularly fond of them, myself.

I’m thinking on trying this with green beans and add red pepper flakes.

Wow, did you have a great day yesterday. I’m going to have to get something like iChat set up with Piper’s parents just as soon as they get high speed internet. Then, there’s no excuses for not seeing her more!

Please keep Robert and the soldiers of the 10th Mountain Division in your prayers. The recent ambush occured in the sector my son and his platoon patrol. We’ve had no word from Robert since before this ambush, so we do not know his status. We do know that this ambush involved members of the 2nd BCT - 10th Mountain. May God be with all of our troops and the families of those involved.

Basically recovered - I've still got a 10lb limit on lifting for another week. I'm back at work today.

We had a pretty good Mother's day. Each of the children hand made her a card then, of course, we went out to eat after Church. How was yours?

How to tug on Mom’s heartstrings....hand made cards.

Nice and quiet. Packed the boxes I didn’t do on Saturday, and a late night Sunday run to the post office and saw 3 moose, 2 within 5 feet of the road, on my side. The one bedded down I didn’t worry about, the one standing and grazing slowed me to a crawl. They don’t pay any attention to cars and just step into the street. The third I saw on the way home just before turning into my neighborhood. It was about 10’ off the road. Interesting ride.
