Or out of Afghanistan. In fact the Dems have been urging the sending of more troops.

Agred. But as has been pointed out to me before...it’s an uphill battle when so many voters and potential voters are still spoonfed what they are supposed to think by the DBM.

We need someone that can speak plainly to the people and cut through the chaff created by the DBM.

“In fact the Dems have been urging the sending of more troops.”

Yes they are in favor of sending more troops into a place they were labelling a quagmire less than two weeks after our original operations there began.

The Democrat Party will support fighting terrorism in Afghanistan as long as they can use it as a club to hammer the President and the Republicans about Iraq.

Once they don’t have Iraq to kick around anymore, they will “support” the troops in Afghanistan the same way they are “supporting” them in Iraq.

Afghanistan right now...is merely a means to and end for the Democrats.

Talking about cakes I tried to watch Barry Hussein on Stuffy Stephey during their love fest but couldn't’t stomach it. So I turned to Paula Dean who was making a cake that looked a lots like snugs’.She was far more entertaining.

The Democrats supported the surge until it came about. They oppose everything and anything President Bush proposes because they are not grounded in principle.

A surprise at the end of MTP—John McCain’s mother was on the set. She looks remarkably good for 95yo.

Agreed, which is why the Reps would be smart to draw now the comparison between the “War of Choice” and the “Good War” and show the inconsistency and faulty logic of the Dems’ position. Iraq is a civil war, yet Afghanistan is not depsite the fact that the Taliban are afghans trying to regain power. Saddam didn’t attack us on 9/11, but neither did the Taliban. AQ is in Afghanistan, but they are also in Iraq. We need a timetable and exit strategy from Iraq but not for Afghanistan despite the fact that we have been there longer. I could go on....

And I would keep on nodding up and down in agreement...

Hi ALL

GUILIANI IS DOING HIS FNC desperation move.

I just saw a teaser where he does the “personally opposed but can’t stop a woman from getting an abortion”

THE REASON THE CLIP IS INTERESTING is because he goes “it will never be my problem.” Ostensivly because he is not a woman. This is telling.

He is basically saying he goes by the “not my problem” philosophy of personal responsibility. Very insular, very self centered.

I also find it a very lawyer mentality state of mind to compartmentalize life issues this way. This attitude travels to other avenues which can have huge domestic and international consquences.

For it but against at this stage of the game speaks of desperation. (not that chris wallace will be very difficult)

Agreed. I’m not supporting any candidate yet but Rudy did a good job of this earlier on FNS this morning. It was great to see someone take issues to Democrats the way he did it.

How Kerry-esque of Rudy.
