i wonder what the sway on the top floor during an earthquake would be?

i lived in a 13 story dorm in college, and we got terrific winds. the highest wind gust recorded was 183 mph.

the water used to slosh out of the toilets on the 13th floor restaurant at 100 mph.

I think WINDSs could sway a building that tall. I know the Sears tower does. It makes you seasick. You would have to take motion sickness pills just to live there. Maybe the CEO of Dramamine could purchase the penthouse.

You couldn’t pay me enough to live that high up off the ground in a town just waiting for the next big earthquake. CRAZY.

Not to mention how close they would be to one of the busiest airports in the country. NO THANKS.

I used to live on the 35th floor of a 42 story building. Never noticed any sway at all.
