Rep. Dave Obey (D-Wis.) is at it again. He’s already been captured on “YouTube” denouncing “idiot liberals” over the war.
Tuesday he went a step further. He offended some fellow Democrats with delicate ears when he used extremely strong language to attack anti-war Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio), during a House Democratic caucus meeting, according to sources who were in the room.
“He cursed at him,” said Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.). “I think Mr. Obey was unfairly harsh and disrespectful."
What exactly was said is still in question. One source wasn’t sure and others wouldn’t repeat the language.
Kucinich asked Obey about language dealing with privatization of Iraqi oil. Obey’s reply included some magic words, which prompted Rep. Diane E. Watson (D-Calif.) to declare that she was not attending the meeting to hear such vulgarity.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) attempted to make peace, but some still were not satisfied.
Asked later whether Obey had answered his question, Kucinich smiled and said, “I’ll respond at a later date.”

Its curious to see the GOP closing ranks since last November, while the Dems seem to be going off in so many different directions they mimic a handgrenade exploding.

In my opinion, Congresscritters and Senators NEED to be more “disrespectful” when addressing the outright distortions and lies and anti-American sentiments of their fellow Congresscritters.
The liberals are devouring themselves. At least some see the lunatic fringe like Kucinich as an obstacle to the Democrats being able to take power in both Congress and the White House. Mainstream America does not identify with kooks like Kucinich.
People, do not celebrate. The left wing extremists now CONTROL ALL DEM FUND RAISING. They orchestrated that and they are very well funded in and of themselves.
They are flooding the districts and states of GOP congressmen who won very narrow victories in 2006 and elevating opposition now, almost a full 18 mos before the election.
We, refusing to fund anything because of illegal immigration, are letting this proceed with no response and we are going to wind up with Al Queda doing suicide bombings in our local malls because of it.
We need to equal their efforts. We need to do our own flooding of districts of those alleged Dem conservatives that could be peeled away from the left wing position on the war supplemental.
Was it recently somebody in the Hispanic caucus called some woman a whore and she quit the caucus?
