Store Clerk Tip Key to Fort Dix Plot(Maybe we should make him head of Homeland Security)
The Washington Times ^ | May 9, 2007 | WAYNE PARRY

FORT DIX, N.J. (AP) -- One drove a cab, three were roofers. Another worked at a 7-Eleven and a sixth at a supermarket. Their alleged plot to attack Fort Dix was foiled by another blue-collar worker: a video store clerk.

Six foreign-born Muslims were accused Tuesday of planning to assault the Army base and slaughter scores of U.S. soldiers with automatic weapons and rocket-propelled grenades.

The unidentified clerk is being credited with tipping off authorities in January 2006 after one of the suspects asked him to transfer a video to DVD that showed 10 men shooting weapons at a firing range and calling for jihad, prosecutors said.

"If we didn't get that tip," said U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie, "I couldn't be sure what would happen." FBI agent J.P. Weis called the clerk the "unsung hero" of the case.

Authorities said there was no direct evidence connecting the men to any international terror organizations such as al-Qaida. But several of them said they were ready to kill and die "in the name of Allah," prosecutors said in court papers.

Weis said the U.S. is seeing a "brand-new form of terrorism," involving smaller, more loosely defined groups that may not be connected to al-Qaida but are inspired by its ideology.

See, the Democrats are right. It is o.k. to divert CIA resources from providing security to studying global warming.

We have store clerks watching our backs.

I hope he gets placed in the witness protection program; and given a nice cushy new life somewhere. I will be sick if the media tries to ‘out’ this patriot. This man thwarted an attack on our military, on our soil. I fear the media hacks will want to find him...Cair will then want to sue him (or worse).

"Weis said the U.S. is seeing a "brand-new form of terrorism," involving smaller, more loosely defined groups that may not be connected to al-Qaida but are inspired by its ideology."

Funny, that's been my understanding of how al-Qaida has worked for years. You don't have to have a membership card and take direct orders from a leader to "belong". All you have to do is agree with what it is trying to accomplish and do works in their name.

' "These homegrown terrorists can prove to be as dangerous as any known group, if not more so. They operate under the radar," Weis said.

Four of the arrested men were born in the former Yugoslavia, one was born in Jordan and one came from Turkey, authorities said. Three were in the United States illegally; two had green cards allowing them to stay in this country permanently; and the sixth is a U.S. citizen. '

I just can't take this "homegrown" nonsense.

As if foreign born and even illegals can be considered "homegrown"; as if they all arrived in America with love for Americans, the Constitution, non-Muslims... and justice for all; as if none of then even knew the word JIHAD before they came here; as if they came here and made friends with Americans and didn't just make money off Americans and associate only with their own; and as if the terrorist training videos they enjoyed weren't from Al Qaeda but the NRA.

They could have and should have all been stopped before they entered this country... and only those who don't want to do that call this "homegrown."

There was a time when this country didn't import enemies to live among us and WE BETTER RETURN TO THOSE POLITICALLY INCORRECT TIMES IF WE WANT TO SURVIVE.

Wal-Mart and Dollar Store cashiers in TX put a stop to the most underreported plots of Muslim terror in the U.S. by calling the police when Muslims bought hundreds of disposable Tracfones aka IED COMPONENTS in their stores.
This is just one of those stories:

And let’s not forget border guard, Diana Dean, who stopped the Millennium Bomber. One common sense woman with sharp eyes stopped a plot to blow up L.A.

A big reward is what my wife also said.

Does anyone else here find it strange that the perp’s family had a Pizza Shop? Wonder if they had pepperoni and sausage Pizza’s?

CAIR wackos are claiming taxi drivers don’t need to pick up people with alcohol and a ham sandwich on a school lunch table is a hate crime but muslims can make sausage pizza’s?

Meanwhile the terrorists hide amongst us by using the criminal illegal alien situation as cover. When will those at the highest levels of our government understand we have people (illegally here) who want to kill Americans?
and the answer comes back, "Grant the illegals amnesty." from our leaders...
makes me want to throw up.....

The arrests renewed worries among New Jersey's Muslim community. Hundreds of Muslim men from New Jersey were rounded up and detained in the months after the 2001 terror attacks, but none were connected to that plot.

This line was lifted straight from the CAIR lawyer's statement yesterday, and reported by the AP as fact.

I don't recall any such thing happening. Did this actually take place, or is it a convenient myth?
