Bush’s fault.....
#16. The porta potties survived!
W O W !
A kayak in Kansas?
Anyway, I’m still surprised that that silo is still standing and how on earth did the streets remain so clear?
Bulldozers from Iraq........
Bush is supposed to visit there. Rosie O’Donnell will be pissed off if he does. She got pissed off at Bush for going to Virginia Tech the day after that tragedy but it took a week for him to go to New Orleans after Katrina.
re #14. So did the school busses.
Thanks for the photo capture!!!...
Sad. The thing drew a bead on the town for sure. Lucky no more were killed. God Bless’em.
The streets were cleared by daylight. People here in the midwest don’t wait for FEMA we get out and move things. Chain saws and pick-ups that is how the streets were cleared. Neighbor helping neighbor.
This is DEFINETLY Bush's fault, absolutely, positively his fault!
I guess her little mind (that’s the only part of her that that adjective applies to) cannot comprehend how much security and communications must tag along with th POTUS. It would greatly hamper rescue and police to have to drop everything they’re doing to guard the POTUS instead of finding hurt and helpless people...........
If in a rural area during a tornado - head for the silo!!!
Very impressive.
! critically injured officer passed today, also there is two dozen still unaccounted for. Hopefully the unaccounted are alive.
Are you saying that some people in other places wait endlessly for FEMA to arrive?
“Bush’s fault”
First this >>>
Gov. Kathleen Sebelius said the government’s response to the disaster was limited by ongoing National Guard deployments to the Middle East.
“I don’t think there is any question if you are missing trucks, Humvees and helicopters that the response is going to be slower,” Sebelius said. “The real victims here will be the residents of Greensburg, because the recovery will be at a slower pace.”
White House spokesman Tony Snow rejected the criticism, saying the National Guard had equipment positioned around the country to respond to disasters when requested by states.
And now this (re: a storm victim taken off life support) >>>
Buckman’s son-in-law Seth Cole, who is in the Army, said he requested leave to be with his wife, their three children and her family, but his request was denied by commanders at Fort Stewart, Ga., and he was ordered to deploy to Iraq as scheduled Tuesday.
“The Army, they preach values and family first,” Cole told The Associated Press by phone as he packed for the flight to Iraq. “When it comes down to it, the Army comes first.”
Fort Stewart officials had no immediate comment Tuesday. A request for information was left with base spokesman Kevin Larson.
“He was a really awesome guy,” Cole said of his father-in-law. “The best thing I remember about him was going fishing and going hunting with him _ at least 10 to 12 times a year if we had the chance.”
No matter what Bush says/does in KS, that’ll be the hook.
