House Speaker Nancy Pelosi used her clout to get lawmakers to back a San Francisco redevelopment project near her multimillion-dollar rental properties, disclosure documents reveal.

Pelosi got House members to authorize $25 million to improve the Embarcadero port area, clearing the way for cruise-ship-dock development and other improvements to aid the neighborhood's comeback.

"The appearance is obviously not good, and she needs to be forthcoming about how this impacts her financial interest," Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas) told The Post.

Pelosi is the ninth richest member of the House, according to last year's disclosure reports, with stocks and real-estate holdings worth between $15 million and $55 million.

In addition to his sprawling real-estate empire, Paul Pelosi owns stock in Microsoft, AT&T and Disney, as well as several California vineyards.

Don't hold your breath. This will get as much attention as Harry Reid's shady real estate dealings. Nada, zip, zero!

I hope this thread was sent to Hannity, Rush, Levin, Hedgecock, Reagan, and all the talk show hosts so it can be the topic of the week. Exposure is the only thing Liberals fear.

Not to worry: The Democrats' "Inspector Clouseau" (who forms committees continuously to weed out corruption and political paybacks) will surely form a committee to investigate this to satisfy the public's right-to-know....

I have seen other reports that put the Pelosi's wealth at over 100 Million.

She is the most despicable “human” being I believe I’ve ever had the pleasure NOT to meet. Do Dem voters see now what they have done? Or are they equally as despicable?

You think so? No, they will get their media lapdogs just to write it up as a partisan poltics and nothing else. They were able to get away with it in the 90’s.

Hey - didn't you see Boehner on all the morning shows decrying this deal and the hypocrisy of the Lady Pelosi?

McConnell demanding an investigation into DiFi's corruption regarding DoD contracts?

Yea - me neither. Gotta take the high road ya' know.

Oh c’mon now... Pelosi wouldn’t do anything unethical that would financially aid her or her cronies. After all, her goal is to “clean up” Congress. And Pelosi, certainly, would lead by example... wouldn’t she?

Nancy is still planning on voting for that Willow Creek dam to be built, as requested by her colleague Sen. Payne, in order that Jim Taylor and his machine can continue to benefit from the graft generated by the sale of the land...um...nvm...that was “Mrs. Pelosi goes to Washington.”

Well it makes you wonder why they say nothing. I am convinced it is because of their own corruption. Term limits now!

the work on the embarcadero piers has been on the drawing board for years, they need to be modernized to accommodate the larger ships the cruise lines use now, SF has been losing business to other ports because they can’t handle the newer ships. This has been in the works for at least 5 years now, there isn’t anything sinister going on.
