LOL...I was also in the 6th grade when Kennedy was assasinated. And I also distinctly remember standing in line waiting to be dismissed to walk home, and we also were all talking about whether or not LBJ had something to do with it. Interesting.

My mom...a flaming liberal schoolteacher...tells me the same thing.

Both of my parents are hardcore Democrat’s and they both told me that LBJ was a ruthless snake.

You must have had better teachers than me. Everyone in my eight grade class knew that Superman could kick Batman's butt and that Mickey Mantle could kick both Superman's and Batman's at the same time.

It was also the first time, I recall, that we were not happy about being dismissed early.

I was in third grade when Kennedy was assassinated... and remember everyone's parents (both Dem and Rep) talking about how they wouldn't doubt LBJ had something to do with the coordination of it.

I heard a few years later, how LBJ had been in a "festive" mood the evening of the asssassination and had immediately ordered the remaining Kennedy's to vacate the WH. Everyone was appalled by the callousness of it.
