During the first round of France's presidential election, Laurence Ribeaucourt had the surprise of her political life.

A social worker and local councillor in a poor suburb north-east of Paris, she was monitoring the vote and the last place she expected to see the deprived youths she had cared over the years for was a polling station.

The “poor” sound like they are violent murderous brainwashed muslims who want to tip the election to the left.

This is exactly the problem. Because of the ideological left who don’t think things through, open borders/rampant immigration is supported (”no human being is illegal”). A great number of immigrants happy to be allowed in immigrate, but a large number who want free social services and have no desire to assimilate into the culture of their new country also immigrate. A proportion of these actually harbor open hostility to their adopted country and it’s citizens. A significant proportion of these two latter groups become ‘activists’ of one sort or another (either the relatively innocuous activism of attending rallies, or the more militant ‘activism’ of burning cars and blowing up things).

When it looks like the system is going to push back (e.g. Sakorsky), these groups join with the ideological leftists to steer the government in favor of their social programs and non-assimilation. Eventually their numbers become large enough to substantively affect the political process. When that begins to happen, the end of that country as it once was is imminent unless stopped before the coalition of leftists and counter culture newbies becomes a solid voting majority. Very scary, and very possible to happen here, aided and abetted by the left (who incidentally are too blinded by their self righteousness and ideological fervor to recognize the ominous implications for their own way of life).

HA! If they think someone's going to get between them and their bennies, that's the first place I'd think to find them.

The choice can’t be any clearer. France restores its status as a world power or it becomes a failed state.

what I don’t understand is how people don’t seem to clue in on the fact that the very people that want to kill us and destroy our way of life are the ones that vote liberal and democrat. HELLO!!! Does this not give anyone a clue?

The choice can’t be any clearer. France comes to its senses or goes down the drain.

OR

The choice can’t be any clearer. France saves itself or goes to hell.

As true as your post is, it leaves out one key component: A wealthy and influential corporate sector that desires low wage workers for maximum profit. Short term, bottom line thinking that enables social liberals and puts us on the brink of radical change and decline. True Conservatives can’t fight their own “superiors”, can they?

It might already be too late. We’d best concentrate on America now. We have many of the same problems here.

Yes, they can. We actually have a duty to fight anyone who threatens individual freedom, the essence of our great republic. You are totally correct about the self-interested short term thinking corporate sector. It seems to me that business schools these days are turning out people who only look five yards down the field. They don’t have a longer term vision. Expediency without a plan can be lethal.

I think WE also need to have a longer term plan. That means sometimes ‘sucking it up’ to elect people who might not be ideal to us, but that fit into an overall strategy to preserve what we so love in this country. Sometimes you have to take the short gain in order to keep moving down the field. To do otherwise risks giving the ball to the other side.

There have been threats that the “youths” will riot if Sarkozy is elected. They object to being held to the same standard as normal people, being asked to CONFORM, to learn French, and act French.
They should have been expelled, then there would not be this problem.
