The stripping away of meaning from ordinary words is crucial to the triumph of political correctness -- and counteracting this tactic crucial to its defeat. Thus, I want to begin today with what will be a continuing project: publishing the Dictionary of Political Correctness, so that when readers see or hear a fishy phrase, they'll be clued in to what's actually going on.
Here are the first few entries in the Dictionary:
Diversity - Diversity is an outcome that (1) can't be defended on its own merit and (2) therefore has to be glommed together with a bunch of other things so that people won't notice fact (1). Thus, when an academically less qualified minority group member is given a slot in the entering class over a non-minority group member with demonstrably better academic skills, this is "justified" because, "taken as a whole," it gives the incoming class "diversity."

Politically Incorrect - Politically Incorrect is a label used in entertainment to identify somone who will attack the governmental structure of the United States. Comedians with big heads and little brains, and washed up all-girl bands with loud mouthed fat chick lead singers are Politically Incorrect if they say “F Bush”.
Political Correctness - Left wing censorship and thought control, substitution of accurate description of a word or phrase in order to redefine it in non-judgemental, appeasing, liberal terms.
Moderate; supports all left-wing programs and policies. Favors elimination of private property, massively expanded government, impoverishment of the masses by lowering all but the elite leadership to the lowest common economic denominator, dismantling all Armed Forces of the United States except as necessary to enforce above policies, surrender of all facets of national sovreignty otherwise to United Nations. Right Wing Extremist: Any person expressing even mild reservation about accepting any facet of the “moderate” position as defined above.
Political Correctness: A fictional term for a mythical concept. (The first commandment of political correctness is that there is no political correctness).
“choice”: a word that applies to killing babies but not schools, guns, certain speech,
jobs, immigration quotas or anything pertaining to `fly-over America’.
and especially that economic part which is technically unfair to all who do nothing and expect everything. OOhhh the diversity we wrap our arms around.
Politically Correct:Factually Incorrect
Bipartisan (adj.) - Description of any case where a Republican agrees to give in to a Democrat.
Nonpartisan (adj.) - Description of any case where a Democrat acts like a Democrat.
