I couldn’t care less, either.

I guess he’ll just call it in. They can do all his scenes using a speaker phone.

Baldwin’s typecast. This interaction with his child is evidence that he behaves in real life just as his character does on the show.

Tina Fey’s job is to be the “normal” foil for all the crazy characters around her. She does that quite well.

She is Executive Producer/Writer as well as performing in the show. So she gets partial credit, I think, for the funny stuff that other people do.

He was pretty funny on some of the SNL skits.
“Schweaty Balls” comes to mind.
Anyone here who has seen that skit will know what I’m talking about.

I agree.

As much as I dislike his politics, he’s a decent actor.

And he is definitely funny on 30 Rock.

Given his track record of making and breaking promises, perhaps that suggests his real ambition is to be a Democrat politician.

I bet he’s watching Al Franken’s race very closely.

I tried watching it, but the way they put down Christians and put up gays in the episode I saw put me right off it.

"He's going to church in the middle of the day? Oh God, he probably got saved and 'll end up in the park preaching." she said with a disgusted look on her (Tina's) face. Whoever she said it to snickered knowingly.

Not that Alec had these lines, but the gay scenes throughout the rest of the show were pretty bad.

Maybe he wants to spend more time yelling at his kid.

Something about Tina Fey just rubs me the wrong way on that show, and I don’t know why. I mean, she’s decently cute to look at and she can be sort of funny. I liked her on SNL. But she just gets under my skin on that show, maybe because she is so needy and helpless. I honestly find myself wondering how she ever ran what was supposed to have been a highly rated show (TGS) before Tracy Morgan and Alec Baldwin were hired.

Anyway, Baldwin and Morgan are a riot, so the show keeps its spot on my Tivo.

“If I never acted again I couldn't care less,” Baldwin said in a pre taped appearance for ABC's “The View,” scheduled to air tomorrow.

Alec can act? Other than Hunt for Red Oktober I can't think of another movie he has been in. He got upstaged in Hunt by FRed Thompson, Sean Connery, and Tim Currey.

Perhaps because I love Will Arnett from his time on Arrested Development (undoubtedly the best television comedy show of the past 25 years), but I found that episode to be pretty darn funny; you just can’t take on a sit-com seriously.

I mean, come on: the line about the Mitt Romney fundraiser was priceless. More than that, when Tina Fey (in one of her few funny lines on the show) said that she was “Anne Heche crazy” definitely gets more than a few laughs.

While it’s true that 30 Rock isn’t great or even probably the best comedy on TV right now, it’s usually consistently funny. And that’s not bad.

He and his wife were the darlings of the clintoons & RAT set. The clintoons even stayed with Alec & Kim. However, when the clintoons left the WH, the Baldwin marriage went south permanently. Makes a person wonder.
