CNN Baghdad correspondent Michael Ware and anchor Kyra Phillips joined Kiran Chetry on American Morning to discuss their recent trip to Iraq. Towards the end, Chetry wondered if America pulling out of Iraq would help the situation. Neither Ware nor Phillips appear to think anything of that idea, with Ware saying pulling out would hand Iraq to Iran and al Qaeda. Will liberal bloggers who constantly swoon over Ware post about this?
Transcript:
KYRA PHILLIPS: It would be a disaster. I mean, I had a chance to sit down with the Minister of Defense, to General Petraeus, to Admiral Fallon, head of CENTCOM. I asked them all the question whether Iraqi or U.S. military there is no way U.S. troops could pull out. It would be a disaster. Theyre doing too much training, theyre helping the Iraqis not only with security, but trying to get the government up and running. I mean, this is a country of Lets Make a Deal, theres so much corruption still. If the U.S. military left they have rules of engagement, they have an idea, a focus. It would be a disaster.
MICHAEL WARE: Well, even more than that, if you just wanted to look at it purely in terms of American national interest, if U.S. troops leave now, youre giving Iraq to Iran, a member of President Bushs Axis of Evil, and al Qaeda. Thats who will own it. And so, coming back now, Im struck by the nature of the debate on Capitol Hill, how delusional it is. Whether youre for this war, or against it; whether youve supported the way its been executed, or not; it doesnt matter. Youve broke it, youve got to fix it now. You cant leave, or its going to come and blow back on America.

Why is he still alive, on a TV in the US speaking his putrid opinions?
Ware finally got something right. I’m surprised.

Fascinating Analysis of Leftist Goals, August 13, 2006
Reviewer: N. Sincerity - See all my reviews
A former 1960s radical, Horowitz is well-acquainted with the Leftist mindset. In this book, he strives to explain the modern alliance between left wing progressivists and radical Islamofascists. He argues that this alliance is based on a common desire to destroy Western capitalism. Leftist sympathy with Islamofascist ideas makes no sense from an intellectual point of view, given that countries ruled by radical Islamists are among the most racist, sexist, theocratic states in the world today. However, Leftists have recognized that they can benefit politically from destructive terrorist attacks on the Western world. A West under attack can be made to turn on its leaders in fear and desperation (as they did in Spain after the Madrid train bombings). Only once people reject current government structures can the Left execute its anti-capitalist revolution and build a new reality that mirrors the Leftist view of utopia.
The complete and utter idealogical hypocrisy of the Islamofascist-Leftist alliance is distressing, but as Horowitz reminds us,

For once, Ware got it right. I'm not suggesting you, or we, absolve him of some of his dispicable reporting in the past....but cut the guy a bit of slack, this time only, on saying exactly what his minders at Time Inc., and the rest of the left, don't want to hear!!

An Open Letter to Senator Reid on His Declaration of Defeat
http://lightfootcruise.blogspot.com/2007/04/open-letter-to-senator-reid-on-his.html
CNN got caught sympathizing and working with Saddam in Iraq.
They held their tongue over human rights abuses, torture, and murder in Iraq under Saddam to maintain their Baghdad Bureau.
We are fixing a failed State, that was led by a madman and sons, who financed terrorists, produced and used WMD on his own people.
And he knows it, as does Time, who btw, PAY him to work with the enemy killing our guys and women and children in the marketplace.
I can give him no slack.
If lib looney terrorist-sympathizer faux “journalists” like these two are bashing the dems over their “Contract with Defeat,” I guess pigs really are going to fly.
Pulling out will take the lives of millions, the RATS know it and support those who will be doing the killing! Doncha feel good about it Reid, Hillary, Pelosi???
