That is something I can live with, the video from 2 miles away is not.
The video is circumstantial at best. My buddy looked at it and didn’t see what was happening until he factored in casing position and coroner’s report.
He said the statements of the other illegals are ‘not credible’ as far as he’s concerned.

Maybe this one is bad, but too many other prosecutions are without merit. No wonder we have an automatic visceral reaction that the guy is innocent.
Well I watched that frame by frame, and if he had a rock in his hand nothing fell to the ground when he dropped. I would expect that you’d have to have a pretty good sized rock to pose an imminent threat to justify the use of deadly force. And if he had anything in his hand you’d be able to see it hit the dirt and roll away.
Doh, good call. San Diego vs. Arizona. Guess you can’t judge if the guy in Arizona screwed the pooch by watching a video of something entirely not related. I know that won’t deter some on the “laws don’t matter” crowd that seem to post on these threads.

I agree and disagree with you. Bush ,for some reason, seems hell-bent to give this country to the Mexicans. I too would be glad to find someone to stand up for Americans and secure the border.
Will it get better when Bush is gone? That all depends on who gts elected. If its a Democrat I dont believe it will.
Perhaps Fred Thompson will do the job he is elected to do and protect America. I dont know,it hasnt come up yet and it might hurt him with the Hispanic vote when it does.
I must be looking at the wrong video .... nothing matches the storys.
No group, a rifle not a pistol, no pushing down , .... but a real movement to do something by the guy who ends up on the ground.

So, you have a new job as a border patrol agent, and you are learning the ropes. You are told that you cannot fire your weapon at someone who is entering the country illegally.
If you cannot do that, if you know in your heart that you may have to break that rule at some time, why don’t you quit this new job and save yourself a prison term?
If they are not allowed to shoot, why are they given weapons? If they are told that they cannot fire the weapons, why don’t they quit?
If they are told they cannot KILL the illegal, then that is a different issue. It is in the RULES. If you cannot follow these asinine rules, like most couldn’t, this is not the job for you and it is not worth putting your future on the line.
