The video you are referring to I believe is from El Cetnro Sector. Said agent will not face prosecution. El Centro Sector has sanity.

>>It sounds a lot like he may have accidentally discharged his weapon<<

That’s what I was thinking, but maybe we don’t know enough about the evidence yet. Based on what we know, I don’t understand how the prosecutor came up with 1st degree murder.

The way I read this, the government is AGAIN taking the word of the Illegal criminal’s family rather than the word of our own brave Border agent. The prosecutor is a Johnny Sutton wannabe. This is disgraceful. I’m ashamed of George Bush. His refusal to secure our borders and enforce our laws is disgraceful.

I think it’s certainly possible it was an accident.

If that’s what happened I’m sure he has told his lawyer. Trouble is once you try to cover up an accident your credibility is shot. Trials are more about credibility than facts I think. When it comes to someone’s intent they have to be. How can anyone truly prove intent as a fact?

I'd say it's near impossible. It would be easy to say that, since he killed the guy, he intended to. Unfortunately, as conservatives, we cannot claim that a gun has a mind of its own.

But, the BP agents are in a horrible Catch-22.
