Not with my S&W 1911A1. And I ain't the burliest guy out there by any means. Having said that, if someone wants to legally purchase weapons and then illegally resell them, how is passing MORE laws going to resolve that issue? Gee, how about enforcing the over 20K laws we already have on the books?

Well when I said “larger calibers” I meant “larger than a 45 ACP”. Recoil on a 44 mag and 50 can be a little distracting.
