BTTT
Unless I am misunderstanding I have to say that you guys and the author of the article are uninformed of the EPIDEMIC of prescription drug abuse we have in the U.S.
In my area of Texas I have seen it detroy lives and families. I’ve been to more funerals for prescription overdoses in the last year than I have in my life. My town did not have one “Pain Management Clinic” a year ago. Today we have four. Why? Because stay-at-home moms were car pooling and driving to Houston once a week and going to 3 or 4 different licensed drug dealers, called Pain Management Doctors. They brought them home and distributed them.
The Texas Legislature is working right now on curbing this epidemic that is destroying homes, lives and the livlihodd of the innocent spouses and children.
I don’t care if the pill heads want to kill themselves to the tune of a thousand a day. It’s the innocent that I am concerned about. We have more DUIs in our area from pills than we do alcohol. That puts my family at risk.
I have no problem with people taking Rx drugs “as prescribed” but that’s not the case anymore. We’re so concerned about the unborn children, how about some concern for those who are living in hell because mom and/or dad are hooked on Lorisets, Oxycontins, Somas, Xanex, etc.
WISE UP!!! The Rx problem will soon surpass Crack and Meth. FOR REAL!!!
