A-ROD $TARRING ON RUDY A-TEAM (smallest donor base includes liberals, sex therapist, hyphenates)
NY POST ^ | April 14, 2007 | MAGGIE HABERMAN and IAN BISHOP

Posted on 04/14/2007 3:26:48 AM PDT by Liz

Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez and former Mets star Keith Hernandez - both chipped in to elect Rudy Giuliani, who had $11M socked away in the bank...... (plus) Yankees owner George Steinbrenner ....former "Frasier" star Kelsey Grammer, "Wedding Singer" funnyman Adam Sandler, "Dancing with the Stars" twirler John O'Hurley and actor Ben Stein......dressmaker Vera Wang, who designed Judith Giuliani's gown for their 2003 nuptials; "Sopranos" producer Brad Grey; financiers Carl Icahn, Charles Schwab and John Wren; sex expert Dr. Judy Kuriansky; diet guru Jenny Craig; and authors Mary Higgins Clark and Nelson DeMille. Islanders boss Charles Wang ....and a string of former Giuliani administration officials and old friends, including former Liberal Party leader Ray Harding.

Of Giuliani's cash, $10.8M remains in the bank for primary season, and another $1.1M for the general election if Giuliani makes it there. Giuliani spent about $5.7M, for a "burn rate" - how fast a campaign spends cash compared to raising it - of 37% in the first quarter. The bulk of Giuliani's campaign expenditures were for payroll, consultants, travel expenses.......plane fees of $45,500 to a California charter firm and roughly $25,000 to use the company jet of breast cancer-drug firm Abraxis Bioscience.

........fund-raising was anemic in January with just $200,000 raised, but stepped up to about $3M in February and $11.4M in March......... Most striking, experts said, was the relatively small number of donors to the poll-leading Giuliani....28,356. Romney had just over 36,000. ".... Hillary got 50,000 and Barack Obama got 100,000," U-VA political expert Larry Sabato said.

Not to worry Rudeo---your unwavering support for abortion-on-demand with the gov't picking up the tab will get the pro-abort crowd writing those checks as fact as you can say "publicy-funded dilation and curettage."

RUDY'S DONOR HISTORY: From the FEC database: 04/24/1999 Donations New York State NARAL, Inc Women's Health PAC

NARAL donated exclusively to Democrat candidates with one exception----Rudy Giuliani. Giuliani got $1,000 from NARAL in 1999 while NARAL gave $250 to Hillary Rodham Clinton. NARAL gave $1000---4 times as much-----to pro-abortion Giuliani.

NARAL sure trusted Rudy's pro-abortion credentials, and Rudy's willingness to advance NARAL's radical abortion-on-demand agenda. NARAL Honored Mayor Rudy for his efforts---he was the honored guest speaker and made The Opening Remarks at NARAL's "Champions of Choice" luncheon, The Yale Club, Thursday, April 5th, 2001.

Giuliani's 1994 and 1998 tax returns show $500 in donations to Planned Parenthood, the country's largest abortion provider. In 1996, Mayor Giuliani issued a proclamation declaring "Planned Parenthood Day" in New York City, while praising the group's founder, eugenicist Margaret Sanger.

In a CNN interview, Giuliani indicated he does not support even a modest ban on the gruesome partial-birth abortion procedure saying, "No, I have not supported that, and I don't see my position on that changing." Giuliani also indicated he would have upheld President Clinton's veto of the partial-birth abortion ban.

Very disturbing trend here.

You can sure bet no conservative would donate to this liberal. I find it quite hard to believe that any conservative could support and vote for a man who has backing from a Liberal Party leader.

The campaign tactics to elect this guy, even the ones used here, are disingenuous, some downright fabrication, and resemble that of the Democrats.

Take heart, the truth about Rudy is starting to come out. This Liberal, and his sleazy personal past will come to light.

The myth of his 9/11 heroics will be known as myth.

Ben Stein

Isn't he a fiscal conservative? Don't know about his social stance, but I thought he was an econ teacher at CSUF also?

Yes, Ben Stein is a conservative.

The author of this thread was too busy bolding all of the decade-old statistics about Rudy & abortion.

Of course, there’s always hope Duncan Hunter will go from 1% to 2% in the polls.

And don’t forget that he’s pro-gun control.

Or pro-illegal immigration.

Or that spending increased greatly in the final half of his mayoral term...

Heck, his advocacy for taxpayer-funded abortions should be enough to give social AND fiscal conservatives pause.

Maybe NOW, the rudy-mites, rudyphiles, and RINO-rudy-ROOTERS on FR will see EXACTLY who they are "in bed" with after seeing this "Who's Who" list of left-wing maggots that are supporting RINO-rudy.

Disgusting.

And let's not forget Giuliani's Immigration Coalition List. Among the people on this list, one should be a definite eyeopener.

Herman Badillo, Celia Cruz, Rita Di Martino, Milos Forman, Bill Fugazy, Alan Greenberg, Oscar Hijuelos, David Henry Huang, Bianca Jagger, Ang Lee, Cho Liang Lin, Peter Max, Frank McCourt, Zubin Mehta, Roberto Mendoza, I.M. Pei, Itzhak Perlman, Carlos Santana, Hans Schindler, Ron Silver, George Soros, Isaac Stern, Teresa Stratas, Preston Robert Tisch, Jacqueline Weld.

George Soros. Let me repeat that: GEORGE. SOROS.

Uh...yeah...

The same people backing RINO Rudeo are probably the same suckers sending checks to Nigerian General Kachinga Cheatchusuckah.

Like Rudy’s “sincere” promises——all of them believe they will be getting a percentage of Idi Amin’s secret gold reserves stashed in a Swiss bank vault.
