I just commented on this on another, similar thread. By no means do I intend to stick up for any of these creatures (Rosie O'Donnell in particular) but I do see a difference between saying generic racist statements, and picking individual young women for racist ridicule and attack.

If some idiot gets on the radio and says something horrible about the Jews, I'll be mighty offended, but it's not going to ruin my day. However, if he gets up and attacks my daughter personally because of her race, religion, gender or supposed sexual proclivities, I might just shoot the bastard. I can relate to other people being offended that their daughters were singled out for attack, and I have no sympathy for Mr. Imus.

Totally agree, but Imus should have apologized ONLY to the girls, and told Sharpton to piss off.
