Having just shoveled 1-1/2’ of global warming out of my driveway here in suburban Ohio this weekend, I can see why Insanity Fair would be upset at Rushbo (Excuse me while I put on my midwestern-US scarf). Do they still have subscribers?

Environmentalism is just one of the replacement religions for those who reject faith in God.

As Jesus taught, it's a belief system resting on shifting sands, as there is no fixed moral reference point by which to judge.

I didn't pay great attention through my New Testament class, so I guess I missed the part where Jesus inveighs against global warming.

Scary.

The orange juice futures market is now completely determined by Al Gore’s flight schedule. The closer Al gets to Florida, the higher the price of OJ.

We can’t let these dumbasses get away with demonizing everyone who disagrees with them. These people are tiresome petty dictators. I don’t care if it is a damn national magazine.

The Nazi’s did this same type of propaganda concerning the Jews during the 1930’s and soon it was okay to just load them up and cart them away to be murdered in a real life hell.

Knowing that the Nazi’s in Germany were also leftists, ie Socialists not unlike our very own leftists here in teh US makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside while I read this type of tripe.

It’s all about the money. And there’s no money in trusting in the Creator to maintain the planet.

Seattle Mariners designated hitter Jose Vidro, front, from left, Jose Lopez, Adrian Beltre, and Richie Sexon lie in the snow at Jacobs Field, Sunday, April 8, 2007, in Cleveland. Mariners' Carlos Garcia is at upper left. For the second day in a row, snow and cold weather forced a doubleheader between the Mariners and Indians to be postponed

Vanity? Does anyone really read it? Maybe if it is the only magazine on the floor of the john.

Memo to Vanity Fair: If you talk the talk, you must walk the walk. You can’t get away with pointing a finger at those of us who don’t buy into your whole environazi scheme when you are killing millions of trees each year to publish your slick rag and/or using excessive amounts of energy (which releases CO2 into the atmosphere to poison the children, doncha know) to run the printers that print your rag. In addition, how toxic are the inks you use for you printing?

(Note to non-printer types: a full color ad or photograph requires that the galley be printed 4 separate times in order to get each of the colors on the page. That’s not too “green”, is it?)

Heck. I will automatically vote for nearly anyone Vanity Fair trashes.

I figure that is a safe bet.

Not only a slick rag, but one that probably averages 50-60 pages worth of fashion, car, perfume, cosmetics and other advertisements in every issue. What “green,” eco-friendly, or other purpose do pages and pages and pages of glossy ads serve, other than to pay Graydon’s bills and help sell a few luxury products?
