MoD bans military staff from selling their stories

Military personnel have been banned from selling their stories to the media amid a growing row over the returned captives from Iran.

The government made the move after captured sailor Faye Turney and her fellow hostages were accused of 'behaving like reality TV stars' after being given permission to cash in on their ordeal.

It's noteworthy that not one former hostage has publicly spoken out denouncing the shameful aftermath of their imprisonment. Most could not claim to have shown any measure of resistance where it counted: in front of the cameras except a brave few

Nervous laughter aside, they displayed an easiness that was hard to conceal. One would expect that certain photos would be cropped or withheld if any anger was displayed.
