Fellow freeper notaliberal asked for help in posting the following email from Kieran Lalor
Since I started exploring a run for US Congress in earnest, I've gotten a tremendous amount of positive feedback from family and friends, from my neighbors here in New York's Hudson Valley and from subscribers to my national MARINE CORPS POST and ETERNAL VIGILANCE SOCIETY websites. Thank you one and all.
Of course, campaigns aren't fueled by best wishes (if they were I know I'd win), so I hope you'll seriously consider joining my campaign with a donation. The next reporting deadline is the end of this month and for me and my team to be taken seriously, we need to have a lot to report. Yes, even at this early date.
Many of my supporters don't live in my district, but they understand that control of Congress matters to everyone in our great nation. For them, here is a look at what we're up against:
1. Kieran Michael Lalor enlisted in the Marine Corps at age 24 and went to boot camp at Recruit Depot Parris Island and the School of Infantry at Camp Geiger, NC.
2. Kieran Michael Lalor spent his twenties serving as a Marine Corps grunt in Iraq, Japan, Ukraine, Norway, Camp Lejeune and elsewhere.
3. Kieran Michael Lalor understands that capitulation and appeasement will only embolden our ruthless enemies.
4. Kieran Michael Lalor has the support of military veterans all over the country. He is the fourth member of his family to have served in the Marine Corps having followed his father, brother and uncle into the Corps.
5. Kieran Michael Lalor served aboard the USS Iwo Jima.
6. Kieran Michael Lalor understands that when liberal entertainers run their mouths about national security issues they prove their ignorance and undermine our troop morale.
7. Kieran Michael Lalor is working tirelessly to raise the funds needed to overcome John Hall’s river of radical money from leftist celebrities so he can send Hall back to Woodstock where he belongs.
8. Kieran Michael Lalor understands that peace is achieved through strength.
9. Kieran Michael Lalor knows that we gave John Hall supporter Bill Clinton a chance and we got 9/11.
10. Kieran Michael Lalor knows from experience that premature withdrawal from Iraq would send a clear signal that the U.S. will quit when things get difficult, exponentially increase Iran's influence in the region, provide a safe haven for terrorists and squander the work and sacrifice of those who served and died in Iraq.
1. John Hall avoided military service with a suspect medical deferment but was healthy enough to become an Alpine Ski Instructor and sail his own yacht.
2. John Hall spent his twenties with Leftist entertainers condemning the United States and working on radical causes.
3. John Hall recently took to the floor of the House and surrendered to Al Qaeda and radical Islam by declaring that victory in Iraq was “not militarily achievable.”
4. John Hall has the active support of America-hater extraordinaire Susan Sarandon and a large cabal of Hollywood elites who don’t reflect American values.
5. John Hall recently sailed his yacht to Castro’s Cuba.
6. John Hall made a propaganda documentary with Jane Fonda in 1980 called “No Nukes.”
7. John Hall narrowly won election because a wealthy gay rights activist operating under an election law loop hole, laundered a half million dollars into his campaign.
8. John Hall believes that we are “aiding the recruitment of our enemies” when we proactively defend ourselves.
9. John Hall has the support of fellow draft dodger Bill Clinton who as Commander in Chief sat idly by while terrorists killed Americans in the first World Trade Center bombing, Somalia, Khobar Towers, Kenya, Tanzania and aboard the USS Cole.
10. John Hall’s Iraq policy to “extricate our troops as quickly as possible; the very definition of cut-and-run.
John Hall is wrong for New York's 19th Congressional District and he's wrong for America.
New York's 19th Congressional District includes West Point and is home to 78,000 veterans. They deserve a Representative in Congress who will stand up for America.

Yeah, looks like a real study in opposites.
This is my district, and you can bet I’m voting for whomever the Republican opponent to Hall is.
What's your guess as to Kieran Lalor's chances for your district?
Well, I was personally shocked that Sue Kelly lost last November, so I don’t know. This isn’t typically a Democrat district, so the Republican will automatically do decently no matter what, but he’d have to do well in the Westchester County part of the district to win. Westchester put Hall over the top last time despite the fact that Kelly carried most of the counties in the district.

Congrats to Kieran Lalor...he won at the convention last night!
He’s the best candidate to beat Hall in November. As long as the Westchester County Repubs don’t force a primary he is our guy!
