Lived in Germany back when those were current. If the pay for a Spec.5 was a little more, I would have bought a 1600.

Bright orange or yellow. Or maybe white with blue seats.

Big round amber fog and white driving lights on the front bumper. Four wheel disc brakes, five speed, Blaupunkt. Schöne. Ultimate driving machine.

They were the epitome of euro-auto-style back then, long before most Americanos had any idea.

I'm pretty sure that whatever BMW is working on for technology means it will be a mainstream technology someday.

BMW is going to small displacement with turbos. Saab, Volvo and Audi have been doing it for several years.

How about the new 335i? With 300 hp and 300 lb. ft. of torque?
