.. my good friend's Grandpa was one of the last Connecticut working blacksmiths ( I'm sure there are some doing it now , but he was taught & learned in the early years of the last century )

I thought everyone knew that steel beams etc. are laid by these really, REALLY, REALLY big chickens. I used to have a whole bunch of pictures - I'll see if I can find them.
