I'd love to start boycotting their advertisers--but I'll have to watch the show to find out who they are. YUCK!
That would work! An excellent idea, and thank you.
That would be awesome!
Some years ago I attended a dinner in NYC at which Babs WaWa was the after-dinner speaker. She is as dumb as a post in real life!!!
Of course, someone's going to have to walk me through putting up an actual thread here - up to now I've only responded to other threads. In fact, if someone here who knows how to do it wants to send me their email address, I'll email the info to them on Monday night after I get home from work and we can get the ball rolling!
It's called capitalism.
some of the antics she pulled on the strip I cannot post here. It was that vulger
A far more effective campaign (at least for consumer goods) against sponsors of the show is to snail-mail them a UPC/product label of their competitor's product along with a letter explaining why you purchased it instead of theirs.
When they get an email, they think "out of 100 people that took the two seconds to send us an email, maybe one will actually stop buying our product". When they get proof of purchase of a competitor's product in the mail, they think "how many others have done the same thing, but didn't write to tell us about it?".
How about we just totally ignore Rosie? She's a female Al Franken.
She has found a way to get attention and even negative attention is good press for her.
No one should even admit they ever watch her stupid show.
sw
The problem is that she has a HUGE audience who listen, gape-mouthed, to her 5-days a week.
In the deadly serious manner of a wise statesman, she makes outrageously false claims against the military, the President, and this country without correction or accountability. Daily. It's incredibly irresponsible for ABC and a woman of Barbara Walters supposed journalistic reputation not only to condone but promote such lies over the public airways.
Her audience will vote when she tells them to and for whom and that scares me.
"Good point. Maybe it's time to go after the sponsors and let them know what we think. Any names?"
Go after all sponsors related to the MSM. That is how you win against Communism. You bankrupt it. Reagan proved this to be true.
Walters is terrified of Tehran Rosie. And ABC won`t do a thing as long as O`Donnell pulls in the viewers.
When list is made and thread posted, pls ping me.
Now that is very clever. "See, I buy products like yours. However, you support Rosie O'Gasbag s terror sympathies, so I hope she buys enough of your product to make up for the fact that I won't be."
Or, with the wonderful world of Adobe Acrobat, we can create PDF's of the items and send them via email.
Of course, 9 will get you 10 that 75% of the adverts are for women's products. But the guys here perhaps can get heretofore uninvolved wives, girlfriends and other females who are near and dear to participate.
...hate to burst anyone's bubble, but Baba Wawa don't care about what you think, unless you can top what she's getting from the idiot fat mouth in revennnnnnnue.
Great idea!
Right Cal Gal, would you include this suggestion in your View sponsor's thread?
Wouldn't it be GREAT if Fox launched its own version of "The View" with Coulter, Ingraham, Malkin and, say, a token lib like Susan Estrich or Gloria Allred? The "Big Three" would pummel the lib.
And put it on opposite the View's start time in NYC.
I thought the same thing.
"Dear Vagisil, I am offended that you, by sponsoring "The View", are endorsing Rosie's viewpoints. As such I can no longer use your product
Signed
Steve
Check one of the earlier Rosie threads -- it had a complete "View" sponsor list.
Okay...so who are the sponsors....since I don't watch ABC....???
