>>Mitt Romney Considering Jeb Bush As Possible Running Mate
(Bluffton, SC) -- Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has dropped the name of Jeb Bush as being among a list of possible running mates for his campaign. Florida's former governor has largely been out of the public spotlight since Charlie Crist was sworn into office. He hasn't publically commented on Romney's announcement.

Nooooo! Not a Good Thing. It's not that I don't like Jeb, but the idea of a Bush dynasty - even with Jeb a remote Bush III - won't fly with most folks.
Republicans NEVER groom future candidates.
BTW this is from a newswire at a radio station so there's no net link.

Let's all take a break, and stop creating a possible Bush dynasty!

Remember, Romney's chances of winning the Presidency are quite poor. There are bigger issues to worry about.

I don't believe this for a minute. Romney is having a hard enough time defining himself for the country, now he's going to stand in Jeb's shadow?
Enough with politicians named Bush, Clinton, Kennedy...

Very bad idea. Would most likely guarantee a democrat winning the White House.

Jeb is probably a better presidential candidate than Romney.
To: prisoner6
I agree. I think this will hurt Romney's campaign if it happens. I don't think Romney has that great a chance anyways. The pity is, I think Jeb would have been a much better president than his brother. But I have had enough of the Bush dynasty and I can only hope that people have also had enough of the Clinton dynasty.

Except for the great '64 campaign, there's been a Nixon, a Dole or a Bush on every national ticket since 1952. Enough is enough. There are other people with ideas out there.
