Hawkish? I've seen hawk's eyes and these bear no resemblance to them.
So right off the top, Gewanda sees only what he wants to see, whether it's there or not.
He sounds like he kinda admire her. I know I do.
Actually she sort of does have hawkish eyes. Only thing is, the author has no idea what a hawk's eyes look like.
