This whole thing is an utter embarrasment for Norway. More than that. It is a betrayal of everything that is good and decent. These same guys, Johansen and foreign minister Store also sold out Norway and freedom of speech in a dispicable manner last year during the cartoon bruhaha. So this is nothing new for these fellows. On a positive note, all the main opposition parties in Norway have condemned the actions of the Norwegian government. The main problem is that this time the Labour party has included in its government a small extreme leftist party that has stated in its program that the U.S. is the largest threat to world peace. They are also the party that tried to initiate a boycott against Istael. Which, btw, misfired as Israeli imports to Norway increased instead. The labour party, traitorus enough by itself, lost the little credibility they had in foreign policy when they decided to co-govern with these outright communists. Yes, their deputy leader also want to abolish private property rights The only hope is that come 2009 we get a change of government, and these loonies are thrown out on the street where they belong. Cheers.
