Fred Thompson is winning friends and influencing people here in the Bah household.
Fred Thompson doesn't look well. He sounds good but he doesn't look well.
All true and all ignored by Democrats who are more interested in bashing President Bush than protecting American interests.
It would be a "bad thing" [I said a negative] politically for the WH to pardon Libby now. It would be a "good thing" for Libby personally because it would save him the enormous legal costs of filing an appeal.
Same here.
My wife has been saying that about me for the past 10 years or so.
Could we be thinking that he doesn't look well because we are used to seeing him professionally made up?
Thats true. I didn't think of that.
The very first thing Mort Kondrake said on the Brit show the night of the Libby verdict...."Well the Republicans went after Clinton for perjury..."
Mort Kondrake! I thought he was on OUR side.
Anyway, so this is the Dems' talking point?
It's always ALL about Clintons.
How about this Bush finally firing a few of those out-of-=control prosecutors and getting a load of crap from the powerful Dems? When Clinton fired NINTY THREE of them and the Repubs made not a peep?
This is the problem folks. Oh I agree with you RG....which is why I'm organizing this thing in my county.
I'm just one little guy out here in la-la land but I'm determined. If I gotta go and form my own political party, then so be it. Insert smile here.
Good to hear for a change.
Geez, your first name is BAH and your last name is BAH?
Cool.
Yes...alas the Dems are helping get Prs. Bush in trouble with his own people.
I was pinged to the thread about these "talks" between Khalilizad and the Iranians...and, there are some unhappy Freepers.
I can understand...it sounds like Pres. Bush is going back on one of his more forceful statements...that he won't negotiate with Iran or Syria.
I think Zalmay tried his best to tell Russert that the talks were much LESS substantive that Timmy is implying..but, the damage is done, I am afraid.
Her thighness is now parroting the Kos/DU talking point about a "timeline" for withdrawl.
I guess I'm used to seeing him with make-up on and looking good on the show.
I have memory "issues." It makes things easier :)
(Good morning! We have fog this morning! I can't see past 20 yards behind us, it's great!)
Being in politics for so long can do that......
I think what he meant was that he'd do the surge...keep the troops in in country till the mission is finished and NOT listen to the weak sisters in the Congress.
Like Sen. Thompson said..."wars are full of mistakes"...this one is no different...what matters is who comes out the winner when the shooting stops.
And the world can NOT afford to let the Islamofascists win.
Ding, ding, ding we have a winner here.
