The Nation's Max Blumenthal takes us on a revealing (and at times shocking) tour of the Conservative Political Action Conference. Featuring Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, Grover Norquist, Mitt Romney, Tom Tancredo, and many more.

One commentator on the link: "I detest the right wing nut cases as much as anyone, but that was a pretty shoddy piece of work, and not worthy to be called a "documentary". The way the opening "interview" with Michelle Malkin was edited only gives fuel to the right. It's a hit piece, and nothing more. A pretty juvenile piece of work."

I couldn't have said it better myself.

He's just pandering to his own limited audience. Gives him something to do, I guess.

Ann Coulter = Owned by Max B. He took a cheap shot at Twiggy with Tourette's at the end; Twiggy didn't appear to see the humor. She can take all the cheap shots she likes, but when it get dished back to her, she starts whining about respect for her privacy. What a hypocrite.

Twiggy with Tourette's

Ouch, that hurts!!

Makes one wonder if those on the other side take similar pot-shots at their own bomb-throwers, say, Cindy Sheehan ... methinks not.

What was it that Ronald Reagan called the '11th commandment'? Considering what we're up against, we need to remember exactly who the (political) enemies are and start directing fire in their direction, not our own.

Twiggy took some cheap shots at GWB and his boozing days during the Harriet Miers flap too. I thought Miers was a bad pick and so did Ann, but she felt no compunction about making her argument on the wrongness of nominee Miers and breaking the 11th commandment vis-a-vis the prez at the same time.

She is a crass and embarrassing loose cannon. Give me Mark Steyn any day.

I haven't had anything to say about this subject because I have been waiting for the hoopla to die down. Today I went to the FNC site and watched this clip. Here is Ann telling the world what happened. She doesn't apologize and after listening to her side, I tend to agree with her. This really wasn't about Edwards at all, it was about an actor having to go to a rehab because he used the term "faggot".
That was her point. You can listen or not. Up to you.

Or Mona Charen. Mona is much more polite than Ann.

No; just of Max B. dishing some nastiness back to Twiggy. Her "respect my privacy" response was pathetically priceless.

Are you aware that Max is Sidney's son? Think back to the Clinton years and you will understand why her response was more than appropriate.

Look, I'm not jumping on the pile against Ann, nor am I going to try too hard to defend what she said. But really, she absolutely called Edwards a faggot. She said, I was going to talk about Edwards but I can't say faggot. So it means she wanted to call him a faggot.

I'm mostly in agreement with those who say that its retarded for the left to get upset about this when you consider what they've called Bush, Republicans and Conservatives. I also agree that the conference was not a good time or place for the remark, but otherwise, frankly, I don't give a damn.

Actually, she didn't. Look at the video. She was making a joke about H'wood actor+rehab+PC thinking. If she had said Clinton or Kucinich, it would have added up the same.

It wasn't about Edwards in the first place, it was about PC thinking.

For Cripe Sake, look at the dang video!!
