He is the darling of the left whenever his anti-Bush, prima donna antics have suited the left's purposes. But NOT ONE of them would ever cast a vote his way. At times when the current president could have used his support, McVain could only snipe and grandstand. He has hurt the war effort and has damaged his own party's president. I despise him.

With all due respect he has at least as much of a shot as the three in your tagline. At least.
Here's a history lesson:
1976
Reagan vs. Ford, Ford overcomes
1980
Bush vs. Reagan, Reagan overcomes
1988
Dole vs. Bush, Bush overcomes
1996
Dole coronated
2000
McCain vs. Bush, Bush overcomes
2008
Giuliani vs. McCain, undecided (?)

"The straw poll result was a three way for first--Rudy, Mitt and John each with 22 percent of the votes."
I probably made a mistake. I recall Hunter was up there. Sorry, my mistake, sorry again.

When John McCain showed up as the poster boy for gun control here in Colorado, he dashed any support from me, ever. I have a memory when one stabs me in the back. Messing with my first and second amendment rights is a no no. I personally think the man is delusional.

Senator Kyl is wrong about McCain. His disdain for the 1st Amendment means that he is no conservative.
That being said, if McCain was the most conservative man in the world, I don't trust him enough to elect him to city council, much less President.
Isn't it amazing how often we are seeing these stories about how conservative McCain and Rudy are? Who are they trying to convince?

Have you ever considered the possibility that McCain isn't nearly as liberal as a lot of FR lemmings say he is, and that's why Kyl's endorsed him?
To: Norman Bates
I like Kyl. His only bad vote was for the Brady Bill as a Congressman. He's as good a senator as you can have. In this case, he's paying back a debt. McCain campaigned with him throughout Arizona when Kyle ran for Dennis DeConcini's seat.
Kyl is a decent enough guy and is just doing the right thing. He'd have had a lot tougher time getting elected without McCain. I expect to see a lot of senators endorsing McCain.

McCain is like a blindfolded kid playing pin the tale on the donkey. Just give him a tap on the shoulder and he will change directions. He stands for nothing. He is as wishy washy as they get.

Sorry. McCain doesn't have a shot.
I too hope you're tight. But, like I said. This is a man who would do anything at this point to get elected and who also believes that he's got support from all sides in the political spectrum. That's why I believe that he'll use an ace or two in the hole that he might be holding onto until it matters. He was after all the "maverick" politician who could do no wrong a couple years back and had all kinds of press and tv talk show personalities swooning all over him. I think that he thinks that he'll be able to play all sides of the aisle better than anyone out there now and that he'll stand a better chance of going all the way because of his "equal treatment" against all sides. Like I said, his aces don't have to be played right now and probably won't have to be played until after the primaries.

As I have said countless times on RudyBot threads. The MSM is feeding the public the candidate THEY want voted for. The same media that has bashed the WoT, the President, and any initiative done by this administration.
McQueeg is no friend of conservatives.

I don't know what your definition of conservative is. John McCain does not come anywhere near my definition of conservative.
McCain-Feingold takes a big bite out of free speech, he is one of only seven Senators given an F- by Gunowners of America.
If he has no regard for the first two Ammendments to the Constitution, why would we believe he has any more reguard for any other part of the Constitution.
John McCain has no reguard for anyone, or anything but John McCain.
In 1992 people in Arkansas who knew what the Clintons, were tried to warn the rest of the Country, the voters didn't listen.
Now some of us in Arizona who know what John McCain is, are trying to warn the Country.
Please listen to us, lets not make a mistake like that again!

This is a couple days old but hasn't been posted. Senator Kyl is a bona-fide conservative and he is completely right here.
1. the endorsement of a politician is almost a "beware" sign, at best and a "stay away" at worst.
2. mccain - fiengold proves that mccain is not a constitutionalist, and therefore cannot be a conservative.
3. based on 1 & 2 above mccain is to be ignored.

Who decided 2008 will be McCain vs Giuliani???
McCain is sinking like a brick and may already be DOA. According to the latest CPAC Poll, it may be more like Romney vs Giuliani.
