Rudy had "leadership?" When is taking credit for other's acheivements and making a stump speech at a disaster area considered "leadership."

Mayor Linguine is a hack politician who became a millionaire as soon as he left office. Hmmmm....

Try to be a little fair if possible - Rudy did more than just make a stump speech on September 11th. More more.

If you want to criticize Rudy, fine.

He aint my cup of tea, either.

But please dont fall into the old class envy trap --- "He became a millionaire as soon as he left office."

What would you have him do? Stay poor and destitute just to please the blue collar crowd who hates anyone who earns a buck.

In reality, ALL politicians become millionaires (NEWT included, Reagan included) as soon as they leave office, precisely because they are able to pull in large fees for speaking engagements.

And also because they are able to generate HUGE amounts in fundraising .... and not just political fundraising either.

Many earn huge amounts speaking at annual conventions of the .... the American Red Cross, or the US Chamber of Commerce.

Making money is as American as NFL football and Yankee baseball. Please dont fall into the libo-Dem weenie trap of hating people who get rich via the American dream.
