Bank of America is feeling the heat as a result of the massive fallout on the part of law abidding American customers of their new illegal alien credit card program/scam. This morning, (Thursday February 22, 2007) Fox News ran a lengthy news spot citing damage control that Bank of America put out for mass consumption basically saying:
"You know that Illegal Alien" credit card program/deal we've got going? Well, it ain't what it is. Who are you going to believe; us or your lying eyes."
The letter was all: "We are performing a legal service and are not breaking any laws." Yadda, yadda, jive talk. Nowhere do they deny doing what they are doing: providing credit and credit cards to illegal aliens. Nowhere in the spot or in their statement does Bank of America say; "How could we have been so stupid, we hear the outrage of our legal American citizen customers and are going to stop this program immediately."... NO, none of that, just a basic: "Ignore that man pulling those levers behind the curtain, don't leave, we want your business/money" baloney.
Anyway, the FOX News people stated that BOA was losing a lot of customers and that a lot of people (like myself) had stopped using there credit cards, had cut them up/jumped ship and gone with other banks who do NOT give credit cards to ILLEGAL aliens.
The whole point of the news spot and Bank of America/MEXICO's statement was that the boycott is having an immediate effect. BOA/M is feeling it in their bottom line.
I am posting this to let everyone know that the boycott of this bank that supports illegals over law abiding American citizens is working. Keep up the good work!
The irony is that the "U.S. Government" Visa card that I keep in my wallet, for official use only, is issued by Bank of America. Come to think of it, when you consider this administration's amnesty plans, it probably isn't that ironic.

The rush for quota promotions has cost BOA...big time. And it serves them right!
You are correct, she is, that is part of the reason why BOA/M loves illegals more than American citizens! Well, after over twenty years, they have lost us as customers FOR GOOD! If BOA/M loves illegals, let THEM pay their bills! I refuse to have to cover/bail out BOA/M for the BILLIONS of dollars in fraud and defaulted credit card debt that is going to be racked up by illegal aliens, because little miss LaRazza and BOA/M loves illegals more than Americans!
Any recommendations for new Banks that do not have a love affair with illegal aliens and that do NOT grant them credit, that are offering good deals on credit cards? Feel free to post them here. I am sure thousands and thousands of FORMER BOA/M customers are looking for a REPUTABLE bank to give their credit and money to.
Try your local credit union. They have a bit stricter rules on membership and members have a say in the management. Helps keep them honest. I have excellent service from mine..more than excellent. A good personal relationship and local employees.

I am the treasure for our neighborhood association and with the approval of our Board yesterday our account with BofA was closed. I am sure they won't miss our $5,000 we had on deposit but they know why they don't have it now. I told the manager and besides the usual response of feel free to return was a, "we have been hearing about this policy." No further comment.
BOA Chairman and CEO has a large letter to the editor in the Wall ST Journal this am saying" we are just following the Patriot Act..blah.blah."

I hope and pray BoA will only have illegal criminal alien invaders as customers. This would basically put BoA out of business. Each and every business hiring, or catering to illegal criminal alien invaders deserves the fate of their business being shut down.
I knew BoA would do something like that, so I dropped my account with them ----- 10 years ago.

I wish I had taken them up on one of the gazillion credit card offers they have sent me, so I could now cancel it.
Folks, you cannot control the back-end, who the processors of credit cards are; but, you can control the "front-end" - and I recommend you find and use a local credit union. They are the only part of the banking industry that is not trying to rip you off.
Those who have accounts there should, of course, yank them, but why not also have those who don't have accounts there apply and refuse to provide social security numbers? And file civil rights lawsuits when they refuse to open an account for one class of people (citizens) under the same terms as another class of people (illegals).
