Clearly Global Warming is a panacea for a whole raft of causes. From anti-capitalism to third world development to animal rights activist and vegetarians. Everybody wants in on the act. As with Rachel Carson, the consequences of the hysteria are likely to be significant and unpredicted.

The first casualty appears to be civil discourse, closely followed by scientific discourse and soon political discourse. What is one to do when one is equated to a holocaust denier? SOcrates and Galileo are soon going to have some 21st Century peers.

These people want to establish systematic government discrimination against human beings who are not genetically equipped to live on a vegetable diet.

Vegetarians eat valuable plants that produce oxygen when they filter CO2.

Vegans contribute to global warming and CO2 greenhouse gasses.

Pass me a ribeye please, medium rare.

From the article.....
"It doesn't have to be all the way to the extreme end of vegan," says Dr. Eshel, whose family raised beef cattle in Israel. "If you simply cut down from two burgers a week to one, you've already made a substantial difference."

I have a friend who despises the leftists so much when he heard this he started eating At Burger King every day for lunch....

ROTFLMAO

This whole GW thing is turning into a comedy act.

Does this make cannibals part of the CO2 "problem" or part of the "solution"? I'm so confused.

American meat eaters are responsible for 1.5 more tons of carbon dioxide per person than vegetarians every year.

Too bad global warming is not caused by that.

Today, I saw a bumpersticker which carried not only the noble admonition against environmental hazards (Save a cow...) but also a way to cure the whole issue (...eat a vegetarian).

What about replacing beef and pork with termites? The weight of the worlds termites is estimated to be greater than the total weight of all mankind. The world's termites produce more green house emissions than man. Eating a good portion of these tiny, tasty critters would eliminate the red meat/barnyard poison fume syndrome. As time went by, and tastes matured we could literally eat the termite peril--with its storm front of global warming gases--like a fat baby eating a banana.

Remember SeaQuest DSV, which aired in the mid 1990s and was set in the mid-to-late 2018, cows had been banned by environmentalists because their flatulence was supposedly destroying the ozone layer. And then there’s the one episode Whale Song.
With the Cute side plot of Ben trying to cook an outlawed cheeseburger. He even sings a little Jimmy Buffet. Tim likes meatless patties instead.

Drove the trusty SUV to get BBQ yesterday. Beef brisket, baby backs and pulled pork...hmmmmmmmmmm. Must do it again soon...so good. This report gives me more motivation (as if any sane SUV driving, meat eater needed more!).
