I see that this General is still suffering from a case of Hyper-relaity, he has spent too many years were his whims were never questioned and his word taken as Gospel. When he retired he never got of that mode. In the Civilian world your work experience as a General, or SNCO, doesn't mean squat. It looks good on the resume but it doesn't make you an expert on foreign policy.
His opinion and expertise in no better then what I have seen from well informed posters here at the Free Republic.
Specially when one retires after umpteen years in the military as a Three Star. And is obviously in the grip of senility.
I might feel grateful for this man's service to our country, but I give him no honor for continuing to exercise his exaggerated sense of self-importance when he is obviously in the tight grip of senility.
