"No matter who is his party's anointed candidate come next November, the real choice will be between George and Gyorgy, and that is not much of a choice."

Clinton vs. Giuliani...

Or how about "he was planted in London by the Soviet Union, as a precocious deep cover agent, and with silent soviet financial backing rose to a postion from which he could attempt to advance world communism"...

My theory makes as much sense, d'ya think?

Makes sense and sounds familiar

I disagree.

Soros no longer has to care about gain. The amount of his wealth is really unknown and at age 75, he has undoubtedly stashed away enough for the rest of his own life and his own comfort. In many countries, his NGOs run on government grants. Other endeavors also solicit and receive donations.

I have run into some of those who work for his various enterprises and I have also known inheritors of slightly lesser fortunes upon whose contributions his NGOs rely. All of these people are true believers in the ultimate goals stated in the article. For the majority of them, it is enough to be working for a grand cause. They cannot go broke anymore than Soros himself can, but they do need purpose.

Soros controls a great deal that goes on in the world. Many agendas, like the Roma, the sexually deviant, selective depopulation, drug dependency have their own momentum in a PC world where people display their "goodness" through tolerance.

At every level of this successful approach to world domination, the manipulators rely on the mantra that "people want to be good." The controlled media and the controlled educational systems have successfully defined *good* (and you know what I mean).

Soros goes long or short whenever he sees opportunity. Not even his most vehement opponents have any idea of the amount nor of the extent of his machinations. Years ago, someone who was an executive in a major hedge fund was assigned solely to the job of facilitating the international communications of all of Soros' various subsidiary funds with those he didn't own outright. IIRC, at the time these funds were trying to get real time information from the SEC so as to better improve the outcomes of all of their own currency speculations. I recall finding some information back then to the effect that the SEC and the international agencies that oversee currency exchange and forex investments were having special meetings that focused exclusively on these attempts. One would have to be a specialist in such deals to fully understand what was going on and I certainly did not.

I wonder just how many little inclusions in bills that pass the US Congress are specifically written to benefit this agenda. I have read enough to be certain that the very constitutions of many of the former Soviet States were written by Soros' minions.

This is the person who owns the owners of the world. Notice the references to computerized data bases of the people who can be trusted. Of course, if they can't be trusted, then those data bases can also be used to destroy them. The controllers love anyone with major moral flaws. The second they are a danger or are no longer needed, those flaws can be used to eliminate or marginalize them

Soros uses his money, the money of those he purports to champion, the money of those who only want to be on the winning side of the controllers and the money of the governments he controls to advance his political ends. I wish he was just some greedy SOB hypocrite, but I am afraid he is not.

This makes sense to me. Mostly what I've read has Russia's involvement but never so directly.

The only point still in question is how he got his original seed money to become so "wealthy".

Cattle futures, just like everyone.

I'm going to disagree with you based simply on the point, if gain is no longer a concern, why remain fully invested? If you're 75, and have more than enough money to live comfortably for the rest of your life and you have such altruistic intentions, why not just give your money to your chosen pet projects, or set up a foundation and manage it yourself?

No, never doubt for a second that Soros is in it for the buck, euro, or pound sterling. The only score these guys keep is how much wealth they can cram into their money belts.

""George Soros, Postmodern Villain" [Substitute Giuliani, McCain or Romney]"

Naaaah.
Substitute Bill Clinton, Hilary Clinton and Jimmy Carter, and you'd be more on target.
To even attempt to compare Rudy, McCain or Romney to the Great Satan George Soros, is the height of insanity.

You must have missed some of the "hate spam" that I've seen lately on the board.

Some Freepers try to make the compare that they're worse than the DEM candidates.

It takes a great deal of money to run the world, but it is the running of the world that is the most important.

Also, the net effects of the various currency deals is not the gain, it is the impact upon the countries in question.

The name of the game is control. Money is the tool of control. Soros doesn't work alone. He is joined by other extremely wealthy people, some, like Maurice Strong, are known. Others are not and they will go to extreme lengths to remain unknown. However, without the influx of vast amounts of cash, the agenda is subject to too many variables.

No one who was in it only for the money would continue after amassing multi-billions. Even the third and fourth generation inheritors need the illusions of purpose and continuing safety and they achieve this by participating in the machinations of control. Soros *made* his own money and his estimation of his own infallibility would never allow himself to quit. He will ensure that the agenda survives him, through his biological children and his ideological heirs.

There are many types of *gain*. Once one has the financial aspect covered, there are vast areas of control to conquer.

We know that Soros funds anti-values groups that aid the Democrats, but I wonder if he is funding any GOP-friendly groups as well. All of a sudden, it has become conventional wisdom among Republicans that America is tired of hearing about values-issues. This comes almost immediately after years of hearing that Americans wanted to hear MORE about those issues. Clearly, something has happened to account for this 180, and I can't help but believe Soros and his ilk have a hand in it.

The only score these guys keep is how much wealth they can cram into their money belts.

Einstein's theory says that energy and matter are interchangeable, and nukes demonstrate the power you can harness if you can control that process.

Soros demonstrates that power and money are interchangeable. If you have power, you can get money, and vice versa. This works on small scales as well. If you have money, you can buy the power to have someone clean your house, or of you have the power to clean a house you can get money.

Whether you measure Soros' motivation to acquire dollars, or power, it's the same thing. Soros has merely mastered the ability to interchange power and money on a much larger scale than almost anyone.

At age 75...Maybe we don't have much longer before the Earth is rid of the infestation of the likes of Mr. Soros.

However, if anyone ever thought he could take it with him, I'll bet it's him.

Since Soros told us (thru bloomberg) this week that the sharp spike in oil prices was not due to speculators, it must be true! he said so....

However, the article seems to imply otherwise, and at least one of his minions, David Einhorn is pushing his latest book “Fooling Some of the People All of the Time: A Long Short Story.” (see Amazon.com) ...and we know that Einhorn is not always correct. At one point he was touting New Century Financial, a subprime mortgage company...it declared bankruptcy.

Anyway, an extremely well written article, good find! and as timely today as when published!
