The father of Trolley Square shooter Sulejmen Talovic apologizes over and over for the ordeal. Suljo Talovic says no one who knew his son saw this coming, and he believes someone pushed him to do it.
Suljo Talovic doesn't know where his son got the guns or how he learned how to use them.
Suljo Talovic, Father of Shooter: "Somebody got (the guns) and maybe (they were) training him and tell(ing) him (to), go shoot somebody.'"
Question: So you think that somebody influenced him maybe to do this?
Suljo Talovic: "Yeah. I think somebody."
Talovic says the tragedy is taking a toll on his family.
Repeatedly, in a lengthy interview with KSL Newsradio, Talovic expressed the sentiment that someone trained and pushed his son to kill. He apologizes for the ordeal, saying it makes him feel horrible, like killing himself.

Yeah. Good luck with that story!
Any if someone else told his Son to jump off a bridge...
If Muslims ever start thinking for themselves, they might actually have a chance to join the 21st century.
The Assyrian, Chaldean Christians belong here. (sorry:)

Somebody needs to take these "parents" out back....
I believe him too. Strongly agree determined investigation is needed not a blanket statement by FBI that terrorism wasn't involved. Give the proof it isn't, FBI!
I hope the families of those killed will raise such a stink about the inadequate investigation so far until somebody goes and gets his computer, tracks his trail to the local mosque, and finds out what mags and books he's been reading. INVESTIGATE.
Like the Oklahoma City individual who blew himself up outside the football stadium - we may never know the truth. Sick and maddening.
I did the math... If each one takes out six of us, that is THREE MILLION AMERICANS MURDERED!
I think its a worthwhile question. Was there an Imam at his Mosque that filled his head with Jihadisms?
There was a story yesterday about an Imam at a local mosque in SLC that had been sacked a few weeks ago because he was under investigation for domestic violence. I don't mean to be unduly stereotyping... but I will... there can't be that many mosques in SLC.

The deposed Imam was probably very predictably angry at the United States for allowing his wife to express any dissatisfaction with him, in the form of a police report for some islamicly-required beating that she no doubt had to endure.
If this same Imam was tight with this kid, and expressed any muslim-oriented tilt to the troubles he was currently handling, it might go a long way toward explaining why this clearly "troubled" kid suddenly decided to strike out at his local shopping mall.
Agree.
That's the underlying sense of what I believe the father is trying to say. The who and why of that someone should be investigated.
But the kid couldn't have thought of it himself? He was 18. Kids can get ideas of their own. I don't doubt there was outside influence but the father's just trying to get the blame off the kid. The kid could have said NO.
Gee, people, the father is grief-stricken and searching for answers. Of course he feels something happened - we all would. It takes a while to accept the unacceptable.
Its possible that his son got in with a Middle-Eastern Muzzie crowd in a Mosque, and if that happened what his father is alluding to would make perfect sense.
You've got to recall that Bosnian "Moslems" are THE most non-religious Moslems anywhere. But if this young kid got brainwashed at a 'Sunni-type' mosque, its quite possible that influence may have had something to do with it.
I am sure that his family feels horrible over this ordeal - if they are like most immigrants from the Balkans they are grateful for the opportunity to start anew after what they experienced.
The ROP strikes again!
Yes it was any and all muslims. That was who did it.
The kid didn't perform his correct toilet ritual and was taken over by a Jinn.
(No, really, look it up)
Well put.
