Giuliani: Can hero of 9/11 win over his own party?
USA Today | 02.01/2007 | By Susan Page

Posted on 02/15/2007 3:13:51 PM PST by Jim Robinson

Views on social issues could cost him Republican Party's nomination

Can't post USAToday content, but basically this article states that most Republicans don't know the full extent of Giuliani's liberal positions. When they learn he is pro abortion rights, pro gay rights, pro gun control, he probably won't get the nomination. And they say this is according to "GOP pollster," Tony Fabrizio.

As of today - he has my vote. But - long way to go - so do the heavy lifting Rudy - and LEAD - no back tracking.

LEAD - gosh darn it.

I'll not vote for a gun grabber.

Did Susan Page write the same article about Hillary? "Can Hillary win over her own Party?"

I thought not

Is there ANYTHING in Rudy's words or deeds that disqualifies him from running as a DEMOCRAT?

What about Rudy makes him a 9/11 hero, or 'qualified' to fight the WOT as commander in chief?

As it stands now I would not vote for him in the primary. But if he is Republican nominee I will sure as hell vote for him.

Having Hillary for President will be like having Hugo Chavez.

ping. The main man has posted an interesting Rudy! article.
"..they learn he is pro abortion rights, pro gay rights, pro gun control, he probably won't get the nomination"
Too many know this and still support him.

Sure there is. He's said he wants to appoint federal judges like Scalia, Roberts and Alito; and he supports the WOT domestically as well as overseas.

Not saying that he's my guy (q.v. his positions on global warming, abortion, 2d amendment and illegal immigration), but to say there's no meaningful difference between him and most national Democrats is wrong.

I had a guy last night telling me that everybody already knew all about Rudy. To quote Sean, "Unbelievable."

There is still time and this forum is doing well to get the truth out.

Can the low-life enabler of the low-life enabler of 9/11 win over her syndicate?

USA Today is a very liberal newspaper. I subscribed to it for several years until I couldn't take their bias any more. I called to cancel it and told my reason and the rep on the phone said "we don't care about the opinion of one little person like you". Amazing attitude for a national newspaper. I'm sure they will be overtly backing Hillary or Obama. And anything they say about a Republican I wouldn't believe. That is the skepticism most seem to have about USA Today around here....usually anyway.

"Tony Fabrizio"
Who advised Bob Dole according to the article. That turned out well.

Let the candidate debates and the campaigns commence.

The eventual GOP nominee gets my vote in the general election.

I have gotten this:
1. He told everyone in Manhatten to move north
2. Went to a lot of fireman and police funerals.

The dog that doesn't bark is what he did / did not do after the 93 attack
