Howard Dean went from frontrunner to footnote in a matter of weeks.

And having Liberal views was a plus to Howard among his base.

Hehee...

This ridiculous. Stop the falsehoods. Reagan was never pro-choice.

By any honest evaluation and analysis, Ronald Reagan never supported abortion on demand. As a newly elected Governor of California, Reagan reluctantly signed a bill which allowed the abortion exceptions of rape, incest and to save the life/health of the mother. As Lou Cannon stated, Reagan was obviously troubled by his decision and said it was a mistake. By 1968 Reagan was already becoming a strong pro-lifer. After the 1973 SCOTUS decision making abortion on demand 'the law of the land', Reagan came out in opposition to Roe v Wade. He went onto right Abortion and the Conscience of the Nation. A excellent defense of the pro-life position as seen the through the eyes of America's first pro-life President.

Jim Webb was an assistant secretary of defense in the Reagan administration, should we vote for him too?

You have it right - thanks..

Their postings crack me up - ....

Like I said - they make my problems in life seem so remote.

I have finally gotten to the stage where I find them funny - I had a buddy go on line just to see what it's like.

Reagan fired Webb after a few months.

He promoted Rudy.

Another so-called conservative seeks to make Rudy look bigger by trying to tear down the Reagan legacy. It's truly pathetic.

Posting stupid pictures is all you've got, apparently.

Apparently the knife cuts both ways. But you're blinded by hypocrisy.

Given the fact that Ronald Reagan was pro choice before he began running for President, I'd say your hysterics are unwarranted...to say the least.

Yes, Reagan was at one time, in the distant past, "pro-choice" well before he became President. Being "pro-choice", although unacceptable to me in a candidate, is one thing. But to "firmly support" the barbaric practice of Partial Birth Abortion is unforgiveable in ANY candidate. There's a difference.

Yeah, I support freedom. The most freedom for the most people. Government that governs least governs best - that sort of thing.

I'm not interested in other folks telling me what I can and cannot do. Imagine that.(s)

but made clear he disagrees with Bush's proposal to rewrite the Constitution to outlaw gays and lesbians from tying the knot.

Coming from Rudy, a man who thinks the 2nd Amendment doesn't apply in NYC, that is both hilarious and pathetic at the same time.

Freedom to kill a fetus. Heck, they are only 3/5ths formed. Just as slaves were 3/5ths of a person. Great legacy you are carrying on there.

So why all this fuss over Rudy? He reluctantly supports such legislation.

We have had a social conservative for the past 6 years and look how well that turned out. And abortion is still legal.

It's time for a fiscal conservative, something GWB is not.

Rudy is more pro-life than Reagan was. Reagan signed a law when he was governor that authorized abortion in California.

Apparently the knife cuts both ways.

Please show where I have posted pictures of Duncan Hunter as proof that he is presidential material.

Hint: You can't. So your claims of hypocrisy are pure bovine global warming bait. You know, the human-caused global warming that Rudy believes in.

Trash Reagan. It's the only way to make Rudy look bigger than he is, apparently.

If it was 1976, who can doubt that these poeple would be supporting Ford, not Reagan?

Shoot, I've reached the point that I believe they'd support Hillary if she had an "R" by her name. After all, no core principle matters, and allegedly, "she can win."
