n an apparent act of Islamic Terror, an 18 year old Bosnian Muslim Refugee went on a shooting spree in Salt Lake City and the mainstream media has their head buried balls deep up their asses.
The Muslim youth is described by CNN as a “A trench coat-clad teenager who opened fire on shoppers at a mall had one thing in mind: “to kill a large number of people.” making it to sound like a Columbine like shooting rather then calling it what it really is…An Islamic Terror Attack!!!

I found not one single word in the CNN article that made reference to the FACT that the shooter WAS Islamic! Not One Freaking Word!
I’m not a bigot and I’m certainly not a racist, but I am a realist and a seeker of truth, and it is completely foolish, if not suicidal not to admit to ourselves what is happening or about to happen right here on our own soil. To not admit that religion, Islam/Muslim is not a dominant factor in the war against terror is deceiving and misleading on the part of the Liberal Media.

If this is true and the shooter was a Muslim, this needs to be trumpeted to the max. All I've heard is that it was an 18-yr-old in a trenchcoat and there is no motive.
It is an unfortunate truth that at present, nobody in government is interested in admitting that terrorism can occur on US soil. The Democrats are bending over backwards to try and diassociate the word "Muslim" from the word "violent"...while the Republicans cannot afford to admit the connection without some serious scrutiny being given to the immigration policies that the Bush administration has advocated for the past half decade.
Oh come now....you don't really expect the MSM to get in the way of a good Leftist uprising in the American political climate by report things like truths and facts now do you???

"Bosnian refugee" isn't sufficient to show he was a jihadi (lots of Croat and Serb 'Bosnians' left, too). His given name, Solejman (as reportd in the Sydney Morning Herald) is.
Shoebomber was just an isolated incident, a lone deranged misfit, until more details came to light.
'Officials' have to keep the sheeple calm, so they release details slowly.
Notice that nearly every 'incident' involving an Islamist since 9-11-01 has had "no sign of terrorism" in the initial press release/news conferences.
Recall that the DC Snipers were 2 white guys in a white van, until the truth revealed that it was 2 Islamist Black guys in a dark blue sedan.
Welcome to FR. I see that you both are new to Free Republic. Interesting post, joguejew1965, although I disagree with the intended and biased message. Yes, there is no doubt that you will find some here who will jump at the first chance to classify any act by someone who is Muslim as a terrorist act. However, there are those of us who prefer to know more about a "suspect" than just their religion of choice.
As I'm sure you know, screwed up and/or evil young men come from many walks of life here in the United States of America. I, for one, will withhold any judgement as to the reasons for this crime until I know more facts. I will also add that those "facts" aren't going to come from the pen of a conspiracy theorist.

It is also true to say that islamist fanatics are a very small number compared with the mainstream. And, before the flaming starts, I'm not an appeaser or apologist, it's just that I'd rather wait for evidence (what sort of stuff is in his room at home, on his PC, who are his friends etc) than jump to conclusions.
It needs to be checked out though. As you say, more information is needed, but if a terrorist act, the media will go silent IMO.

The latest Fox radio news is still just referring to him as "an 18 year old." Today's local paper said his name was not available. I heard his name mentioned on another radio channel, but it was pronounced, "Solomon". Michael Savage devoted his whole show to this tonight, including name, religion and nation of origin. Otherwise, the story has gone to the same place the Univ. of Okla. suicide bomber story went.
Yes, and the police denied it then too, claiming the guy had no connection to terrorism, even though the act itself was terrorism and he proclaimed himself a jihadi. Sheesh...
