The Subcommittee on Energy and Air Quality hearing scheduled for Wednesday, February 14, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. in room 2123 Rayburn House Office Building has been postponed due to inclement weather. The hearing is entitled “Climate Change: Are Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Human Activities Contributing to a Warming of the Planet?”
The hearing will be rescheduled to a date and time to be announced later.
DC WEATHER REPORT:
Wednesday: Freezing rain in the morning...then a chance of snow in the afternoon. Ice accumulation of less than one quarter of an inch. Highs in the mid 30s. Northwest winds around 20 mph. Chance of precipitation 80 percent.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy. Lows around 18. Northwest winds around 20 mph.

meanwhile joe Kennedy cowtails to Chavez to get low priced heating oil. Why doesn't dumb Joe tell us why the Ice Age melted long before we burned our first chunk of coal or drop of oil and does he fly commercial or is his time so precious that he goes by bizjet? DO AS I SAY<, NOT AS I DO KENNEDY!
Seriously though, I had to make a point with a fellow co-worker that "global warming" has been, scientifically speaking, now transformed to "climate change."
Right now I'm looking out my window here in Southern Ohio and viewing the "White Death" as it is known in the area.
Can't wait for a little Global Warming.
Well, naturally. There's a consensus of scientists who can all tell you that global warming means climate change. So, when it's hot in July, or cold in February, that's proof positive of global warming.
In fact, apparently any change in the weather, from day-to-day, is proof positive of global warming.
Anyone who disagrees is the same as a holocaust denier.
The only inconvenient truth is the 30cm of snow in my back yard in Toronto when it's STILL snowing on the same storm front in Chicago.
Have you ever noticed holocaust deniers live in warm climates???
